Imc, i think you're really giving away the wrong message

Hi guys, I really dont think that you should really compensate players for exploiting the bug.

Me, for example, when i knew that something was going wrong, i avoided loggin in, because i knew that something big was going to happen, and didnt wanted to get involved.

If you’re going to reward the ones who exploited, i think that keeping one of the dropped items are reward enough, some items like Battle Bracelet and other drops, should be enough, and even those are wrong in my vision.

Now, not only you’re giving rewards to the exploiters, but those rewards are way better than the ones who didnt exploited or simply avoided getting involved received, so the message you’re giving away is ‘Exploit, and you shall be rewarded’.

I am really aware that this exploit was IMC fault, but, at the same time, IMC toke the wrong way to fix it, not only making those who exploited big rewards, but as well making the ones who didnt exploited feel disrespected for you.

Hope that in future cases, you think on the consequences of your acts, because most players are really sad with the outcome of this case, both exploiters (but mostly of em are happy with all the rewards, including drops from the exploit), and non-exploiters (who are just angry with all those rewards to players who did the wrong things.

Not everyone checks the forums before they log in. Lots of people just want to play the game. So they’ll log in, play the game, and bam, get suspended for it because even after you’ve figured out something is wrong, you’ve probably already looted 2 of that item (the first one being chalked up to good luck) and by then it’s already too late for you. Enjoy your 4 day + suspension OF A WEEKEND.

1,624 accounts were affected by this. That’s like, 25% of the player base (and it would have likely been more had the servers not been taken down just as school and work days were ending on a week day). If those players aren’t compensated, there’s a high likelihood they’ll quit because it really doesn’t get much more unjust than LOSING AN ENTIRE WEEKEND just for playing the game. I imagine those players’ business matters more to IMC than all the salt in the world from players who are probably going to continue playing anyways.

Who’s more at risk of quitting the game? The people salty over others getting a bit more compensation or the people who lost en entire weekend just for playing the game? When it comes to determining whom you’re more likely to lose based on what you decide, the decision is obvious.

And all of this caused by the Developer’s Mistake.

I really understand it, but at same time, did you recently checked the market?

LOTS of players hard exploited it, 1 week ban with compensation isnt worth, for all the trouble they caused.

If IMC dont act quick, it will take a long while for our economy recover ;

But at the same way, i think, like i told before, that the token compensation / keeping 1 of each exploited drop are more than enough, on silute it was a madness on our market.

In theory, the ones who tried to sell their goods on the market are going to get a lot more than a week ban, remember? And they also are receiving NO compensation. Re-read the announcement. Those who sold the goods are getting further restrictions AND NO COMPENSATION.

(in theory, of course. In practice, well, this is IMC, after all)

This x1,000,000

~7,726 people has been the peak for the last 24H. (1624/7726)100 =21%

They temporarily suspended 21% of the peak population. Do you want to make these people upset because they played the game, or do you want to make some people rage because they’re upset that they aren’t getting a few cash shop items, although they didn’t lose the last 2 days of gameplay AND got all the maintenance compensation, which they otherwise wouldn’t have gotten.

I personally would’ve quit if I wasn’t receiving decent compensation because it sucks to get caught in the crossfire of a developer’s mistake and lose your play time because of it. Of course there are other games, but if I wanted to play those I wouldn’t have been on ToS in the first place.

The compensation is for the people who got DPK drops, but didn’t do anything malicious. The people who are found to be actually guilty won’t receive anything.

This is stupid, what constitutes abuse? Is abuse owning more the 20 cubes? is abuse marketing 1 caro attena because you though you got lucky? Lets be real, they “updated it” so they can ■■■■ anyone who didn’t know better. They clearly are avoiding the “MASS TRADE” original idea and now are probably targeting anyone who trade or tried trading an item away.

Not everyone that is blocked went to farm hundreds of battle bracelets, and thousands of cubes and monster gems, don’t you guys got it?

I didn’t get a single battle bracelet and my account is blocked, I was just farming at a lvl 322 map.

The way they handled it was dumb as rocks in the first place.

Well, yea. I’m still surprised they thought it was a good idea to use a solution that required manually sifting through over a thousand accounts in the first place. But that’s a rather separate issue from the OP, I think.

It isn’t, if they did a simple rollback the “exploiter compensations” won’t be an issue in the first place. Now steam reviews are down lel

They f¨%$¨%$ing deleted my topic.
Really?

IMC have become trash. Total trash.
I noticed something was wrong after dropping 5 blue cubes in 315 HG in a moment.
By the time ppl told me that there was a bug, I left HG.
I didn’t have a single purple box in my account
no battle bracelets, no rare drops.

Spent the day lvling my chars cause I thought It was the right thing to do.
What an ■■■■■■■ I am.

I should have dropped all that I could.
