[IMC] How to fix the queue times and encourage team play. [UPDATED]

Im on klaipeda.

I get the issue, but they just made the change to where xp tomes dont lose time while in que so the suggestion of being able to que anywhere and still play wont work. I think this is what you dont understand.

The cross all server que would solve the issue anyway. Implementing both of these changes to make que time quicker is like IMC nerfing sadhu to the ground instead of making a small tweak. Ive seen you in the sadhu thread so you know what im talking about.

This calls for an actual merge with another server. You are at Klaipeda right? Correct me if Im wrong but Isnt that close to Orshan server? They should just merge them if the population gets too low

Why not? You can be in queue and the tome timer wont go down, great, you might get 5 minute of free time on it killing mobs (with fully cross server or random dungeon queues will NOT be long) especially not long queues because people will try to optimize thier tomes… So that is a non-issue, if anything a tiny buff to tomes.

Where would the host server be, the leader of the party? The closest server among players (I doubt IMC can do this)? I don’t really understand how cross server will work with people halfway across the world

It would most likely be on the NA dungeon servers or whichever region has the most players in the party (Out of NA and SEA). You could even put an option for server region preference. You can tick NA or SEA or both if you want faster queues, This way people have the OPTION of waiting longer if they want to have the lower ping. (I’ll add this to main post)

This is why it should be a discussion, not an argument of why things will never work. To generate idea’s that can work for everyone.

To answer your other question, Orsha, Klaipeda and Silute are all in the same location and yes they need to be merged badly, but some vocal guilds dont want it because they might lose control of the WB’s and AFK farming locations ect… it’s pretty selfish and sad tbh.

Do you honestly think this is acceptable and IMC would be alright with it? At this point i feel like your trying to push this to where you dont think of reason. There will be ways to never find a party while in que.

I do like your first suggestion. IDK id they could do ALL servers though. Maybe NA/SA and EU/SEA? That would be a start. I feel like it wouldnt run very smoothly with all servers. Just because you are alright with 700 ping doesnt mean everyone is.

For #3 I like it, but not so much increasing drop chance on existing items. Rare items with higher drops rates arent rare anymore. Id like it if they would add more items to the cubes though with some having higher drop rate. Moving certain items from bot areas to dungeons is a good idea, but i do enjoy farming for rare items outside of dungeons too.

Fourth idea i like. No comments on the rewards for it though.

A setting which gives us the decision the choose between “Regional” and “Global” queue would be sufficient already.

Thing is, IMC cares for their bots. So they can’t really add more value to instanced things as that would rob bots of their business.

There is no reason the buff could not be simply disabled while the timer doesnt tick down either, it’s not that hard to code. Its active when counting down and isn’t when Queued. It’s actually very simple.

But thoses same sh*tty servers/services are ones of the things which did help to kill this amount of players.

So if they really did want to do it this way … They are doing/did it the wrong way. Probably just “do not care”.

And +1 for this post. Need to finds options, for making it less painfull to queue. Currently, the only one it to do shout(s), and to hope ppl are, maybe, gonna come …

Well, in the end, for me, the two main options are … Queue with indun, or if you want to stick to the basic queue, at least, stop trying to f*ck ypur players, and freeze all buffs time while queueing (Meltsis ? You did create this buff, use it, at least)

obviously you guys don’t play many mmos. Frequently the regions are separated for pve & pvp ques in games with regional pricing because either the countries with less currency cry about the wealthier regions being able to buy more in game currency via premium items or people in the wealthier regions complain about the other regions lower tp prices allowing them to do the same.

I forgive your inexperience with video games.

Personally i don’t give a flying ■■■■ im just saying these are part of the reason we were separated in the first place and i have no doubt these crys will resurface if the ques are combined again.

There isn’t really much cash shop only p2w elements in TOS to justify that…for now.

It might make sense for competitive instances such as PVP arena, but for dungeon runs who the ■■■■ cares, we just want to finish it asap for loot. Depending on server you cannot even find people to queue half the time, while on SEA they got queues 24/7, these people don’t ■■■■■■■ sleep

4-8 people max in fedi mission queue for the last 4 hours :smiley: Yep… No problem here.

People will queue faster if it’s on the back ground running like in wow. The fact that we have to sit in place and wait hte full queue duration makes people not wanting to sign at all.

It’s the hardcore experience. There are players who want to preserve this system. I am unable to understand this phenomenon.

They need to make stuff worth queuing for.

I mean, I queue for a mission and get what… 5% of a level per run. It’s not even worth the time to do this anymore. I can solo grind faster than that and a decent party can grind even faster.

Same with dungeons. None of them give good exp (only looks good because you’re low level and most come after a level reset) and the drop rate on items is so low it’s not worth the effort, it’s quicker to grind the money and buy the item you want than get it as a drop.

Before you even start changing how people queue, you got to give them a reason to queue for this stuff in the first place.
