Yeah, I agree it wont happen but, even it comes to live server they will still change something if they see things not going by what they want.
well …they could release the HG early tho …just so that people can do “new stuff”
as for that other system related, don’t think it will be this soon

IMC, don’t give us the changes yet~
It’s always the same thing: people get impatient and want to rush things, but then they get mad because it isn’t good enough yet.
They’re still modifying things, no point to give them double work by putting/moddifying it on two versions… It’ll also create so many unnecessary bugs, knowing IMC. It’s just asking for a lot of extra troubles.

What if they release early will you be happy?
At least give us the new hg as someone said, and also the news upgrade prices. It would be a waste upgrade a weapon now.
IMC’s focus will be on bug fixing and stabilisation. They have to prioritise it to prepare for long term growth and improvement. Once they correct these problems and further address legacy ones then they’ll be ready to introduce the next content update.
I’m still torn though. I want to get these changes now because for the most part they’re good, and that would let us participate in the ongoing balancing and allow us to make informed suggestions.
But, they are still a work in progress, and the meta may shift meaning investments during the changes may prove to be a waste. New players or more casual ones may find the rapidly shifting balance frustrating too.
What really matters to me though, is if IMC listens to us once we get the update. There are advantages and disadvantages to an earlier or later release, but what I really want is the ability for our feedback to be heard. As long as IMC is willing to accept our thoughts and continue aggressive rebalancing, I’ll be content.

But they do focus on fixing bugs that’s why it takes so long! IMC is listening to us though didn’t you read all those posts about how they are taking their good old time listening to everyone? It’s not like they would take months and release a broken patch anyways that breaks the game with a bunch of systems everybody told them they hated.
I mean that SURE would make a certain subsect of forum users look silly right? No, no I guess not because you can just pass the blame on to other people saying they didn’t do something properly.
Not sure they will, as it would require extra work to re-stat all equipment for pre-patch.
Unless I’m wrong and the new HG have been released on JToS or KToS before the new combat changes?
They weren’t, so you’re correct. It would require entirely rebalancing them, especially because they focus on Crit which could mess up the short term balance a bit. They’ll want to release all the newly rebalanced, and new equipment at once.
We can only hope that IMC learnt that the population is 90% retarded. Look what happened last time they gave into community pressure and put out a unfinished product rather than waiting and doing it right.
I agree i would rather wait for a properly completed patch.

If their servers wouldn’t burst into flames, it would be nice to have a test server, to mess around with all kind of builds… buuuut, the actual servers are like asthmatic cats in a maraton, so… better not.
There is a test server. Its called Ktest you know the guys who get the patches first test them. For us to have a test server they would have to do localization before testing which makes no sense on content you might scrap or change several times. Also not hard to get on ktest there are several guides how as well.

Oh, I know there is a Ktest server… and I saw the guides… but it’s worth it? Does anyone know until when it’ll be open?
It does makes sense. See, we are are talking about nothing other then the upcoming balancing patch from exactly that server since weeks now without the possibility to access (yes, i know its possible but I mean a regular access point) and I feel like a rabbit chasing the carrot on a stick. Performance is one thing but the other is the basic understanding of professions and mechanics that getting drasticly changed.
As an EU player I would have no problems to play from an US server for testing purposes tbh.
The thing is that we will get 1 week or so to test everything while the koreans have months for it. Wasnt the staff making a statement to try to bring more equality for iTos a while ago?
You do realize that if changes have to go through localization while testing, it would mean even SLOWER patches (something they already get flak for). It would be impractical to test in English. You have to view this from a business stand point, not what you want stand point. Doesn’t make sense to make a problem they already have, even worse.

right i have been waiting ages.
It takes long enough already and the feel of being part of something is more worthy for me as to wait and get fcked by a ridiculous one week time limitation.
I dont give a fck if it takes a bit longer for that price.
