Feedback and Communication from the Staff Are Insufficient

From now on, we will have a regular Q&A time with the Dev Team based on the opinions from you, the users. Also, a CM will gather up questions raised on the forum and forward them to the Dev Team and provide our users with answers.

This is what you posted on May 27th. The new players wanting to get into the game have been begging you daily for some information about when the ban will be lifted. Yet you remain SILENT.

FEEDBACK and COMMUNICATION from the Staff Are Insufficient.

It is absolutely OUTRAGEOUS, that you cannot stop for 5 minutes and say ANYTHING. You wonder why everyone on the internet is talking bad about this game? It all stems from a complete and total lack of good PR. If you appeared to actually give a damn about your customers, current and NEW, and that appearance came from constant communication and positive changes, you would be receiving no where near the flack you get today.

Yet today I sit at my computer, wondering why I so desperately would want to play a game, and support a company, who so clearly does not care at all about us.

Here we don’t have any decent communication with IMC. Also, we don’t have:

Weekly events; Balance patches; New costumes; New mounts; etc. Sadly, iToS is becoming more decadent every week. New players already can’t download the game; i wonder what’s coming next…

edit: Since the game is really bad here (on iToS), only the trolls stay in the forums. Don’t be surprised if you get a HUE reply.

They can’t answer all questions, but they are doing what they promised. Collecting questions that come up and then answering them weekly.

Also the forums are in a horrible condition with 90% troll posts and unconstructive criticism. If some staff member would start answering here directly, that would just get even more people to rage and spam. It’s good like they do it. Just silently collect questions and then answer them.

It’s true it sucks when you have a question that’s important for you and then it isn’t answered, but as said, they can’t answer everything and many things also simply don’t have an answer yet (like if they don’t know yet when they can open the servers to new players again they can’t post about it).

I have trouble, if not impossible answering all my emails, texts, instant messages, whats app, etc. I can’t imagine what IMC needs to deal with on a day to day basis.

Your expectations from IMC are simply not realistic in any way, shape, or form. You have to consider that they are a relatively small team, and have limited resources outside of Korea. The fact that they’re doing weekly Q&As is already a HUGE win over other MMOs.

If you think TOS is “silent”, then you obviously haven’t experienced another game.

O well, responses like yours is expected. CDProjektRed was given ■■■■ like this… that they were silent and not communicating to their customer base, when they literally had multiple MODS posting and answering questions on forums every hour, and tweets every day.

Well put yourself in their shoes before you criticize them:

They made this game and they have absolutely no idea what they even wanted from this game. In fact, they have no vision of where the game should go from levels 1 to max. They have no idea how to fix basic stuff like vendor buyback. They have a broken add-on system that allows people with the skill to exploit the game in unacceptable ways.

So if you are a game developer who has absolutely no idea what are you doing or what you even wanted from the game in the first place, would you have answers to give anyone?

I should wouldn’t.

However, They are slowly picking up the pieces and addressing the issues…though how fast we won’t know…i even saw some ads linking to Tree Of savior yesterday… unless i was mistaken…

If u feel unsafe on spending or supporting the game u can be like me and don’t spend at all instead of creating a topic where so many have done so for the past …decades? i think =p
