Can you fix some of these exploits? If you fix this before you raise the cap you may actually save the game. With the new gear coming out everyone may be on a level playing field once again, but if people are still unfairly upgrading equipment at that point it may be the end.

Also there is a game breaking hack out that’s been around for a while now, how about an announcement about it? Saying you are working on a fix or something. Leting us know that you know about it. Instead of the silence. I know you’ve seen people talking about it. Do you not care? Let us know. Thanks.

Also if you want new players to not be instantly turned off from the game, some GMs patrolling zones up to tenet chapel and banning bots would help. Most of them dont need investigation. Making it so bots cant spam in town would help with fps and retain new players as well.

according to a certain reliable whiteknight source,

if pvp/gvg is unplayable at the moment, you can opt to play some other content like guild worldboss hunt , EarthTower etc…

game have alot more to offer, pvp/gvg not the only thing TOS is all about…

and being whiteknight himself, he assure you IMC aware of this and is working on it.

No, I actually agree with him and wanted to type up a response. The only thing I could really say is that talk of hacks shouldn’t be directly mentioned but rather alluded to. Saying, “We will now investigate those who used Hook64” will either just make the abusers go all out, or the lame leechers who’d just stop using it. It’d end up being a bigger unclean-able bloodstain in the carpet.

Just a bit longer, and even the toughest white knight will be consumed by endless exploits and IMC inaction. Every doomknight started out as a TOS fanboy and eventually you will turn to the dark side too.

By the way, the reason hook64 exists is due to huge amounts of game functions being client side and lacking server checks. A few addon creators had said it is virtually impossible to plug them all without basically rewriting the whole damn thing. So don’t expect these hacks to be fixed anytime soon.

and that declining population, discourages new comer as well as the fact, lv1 to lv200 need more attention.

while whiteknight n doomsayer both acknowledge hook64 being the major concern at the moment,

you whiteknight cant just dismiss our discontent and frustration on hook64 issue

both pve/pvp player made up to the current population.

ignore/being silent about pvp content/issue, pvp player just gonna quit and you pve player can continue play a 3k population game.

that is the future i can predict.
that is the future i try to prevent, by being vocal.

for watever reason it is, from all time peak 50k player down to 5k, what does your common sense tell you?

Common sense is a basic ability to perceive, understand, and judge things that is shared by (“common to”) nearly all people and can reasonably be expected of nearly all people without need for debate.

what you described are taste and variations, they got nothing to do with the core of what common sense is…

Dont assume just i dont understand common sense, i could refute, but common sense doesnt help regain atleast 7% players back.

I dont know alot about this, but wouldnt something like valve anti-cheat work then?

Possibly, but I’m not sure how much it would cost IMC though. Remember, unlike most other MMOs who use their own launcher ITOS runs solely on steam which means they already give a big cut of their revenue to Valve. Ultimately IMC needs to clean up its own code instead of relying on 3rd party anti cheat. So far we haven’t seen much of an long term effort to reduce cheating, all they do is ban those obvious chat spam and heavily reported exploiters and bots, what about those who cheat discreetly? There are lots of hook64 features like autocomplete quests that can be abused without drawing attention. (yes the server does not actually check your questing progress you can flag it to complete instantly)
