IMC and the Stat Reset Potion situation

Hi Saviors! And hello IMC Team!

Thats been a while now since players can acquire an stat reset potion from the tp shop via exchange medals and despite it is already something we have to agree that its still a problem in the game.

I totally understand and even agree that IMC dont want to allow everyone to keep reseting stats over and over again every time that its convenient. The problem is, today if we miss in the stat distribution even if for a little we have to pay an insane amount of money just to correct this.

To be realistic there is almost nobody that buy one of this potions right now, its just cheaper to create another character and level it up all over again. Think how many stuff we could buy with the same amount of money!

If we think a little bit, even for IMC its a good thing to make a potion available for a more affordable price, there would be more people willing to pay for it and consequently more money for the company.

That is just my opinion and a suggestion to make the game better for everyone. If anyone has another opinion i would like to read it, just comment below

No f****** way It will be cheaper delete a R8 character who you spent a lot of silvers to put almost every passive at 70+.

But yeah, I agree, this medal sh*t must end and they need make these fictional items cheaper, not just the stats potion.

Sure, if you put almost every passive at 70+ that will be a lot of silver.

Thats not the case for everyone, usually when someone realize that the stat distribution is wrong its still cheaper to recreate even on early R8.

i got better idea

since game is literally changing every month or so (with patches that messing with equipment, monster, skills, stats, gems, enchant, etc etc)

i suggest imc give a compulsory stat&rank reset for every 3months.

for those you purchased the stat/skill reset previously (first hand buyer), as a token of appreciation, imc will give out 1 30days-token for each skill reset bought from tp shop, and 2 30days-token for each skill/stat reset gotten from medals
(i dont use the medals so i dont know whats inside the medal exchange shop… my point is, to show appreciation towards money-spending-power-customer.)

This would never happen,

An stat reset is only necessary after a huge change in the game, something that make STR stat less overwhelming for example.

As you correctly said the game is still changing a lot so the player that want to reset his stat should just wait untill the game is settle to use it.

For this purpose selling stat reset potions for a fair fee is enough but very necessary

can you all just quit this game and let it rot… it has potential back then, but now… lol. it’s far from redemption… the strong gets stronger, the rich gets richer, tp spender gets vip treatment… the weak just gitgud now…

just wait for tos mobile… xD lol or other mmorpg like lost ark… well revelation online sux for me…

since when str is overwhelming? currently STR is LESS overwhelming.

u mean imc to buff STR in future so its actually WORTHWHILE, destroying current high dex meta? okiee~

i said give 1stat & rank reset, every 3 months.

how many of you guys have multiple alts u wanna reset ?

how do u weight between ,

  1. making ur player/customer happy (reward the player for staying in a buggy game)
    or
  2. making imc wallet heavier with pennies and coins ( reset only available via money purchase)

so instead a free reset every 3months , u wanna suggest lower the price and start selling rank reset so people can swipe credit card anytime?

it contradict with your so called “An stat reset is only necessary after a huge change in the game”

^ i love people like this one. You know, those idiots with an “if i can’t enjoy it everyone else should also not enjoy it and everything i don’t like should rot and die”-attitude, as if they’re the center of the universe and we all should follow their advice.

This is especially funny (and sad) if they already quit the game, probably already play another MMO where they probably also bitch and moan how this other game “sucks and had so much potential, but this other other new game will be soooo perfect, so as soon as this other other new MMO comes out i’ll quit”, yet they still lurk and complain on this forum.

What i am saying is that they will never give those pots for free, IMC is not a charity company and they want profit. So AT LEAST sell them for a fair fee because its necessary

  1. The Stat Reset Potion cannot be obtained in-game, while the Skill Reset Potion can be purchased from the TP shop.

The stat reset postion should’ve been exclusive for founder’s server buyers.

hmmm, you sure? Why they sell for a huge amount of TP then? Do you even play the game? Stat potion was one of the most profitable tp items some weeks ago.

Stat potion shouldn’t even be in the game, just in case of massive stat and mechanic changes.

So if someone put some points in the wrong stat he will get punish hard. And it is okay??

Do YOU even play the game? This changes is happening so the pots are needed

I am not asking for free, i dont even wanted one i got mine from the founders pack. I am trying to help the community

i would suggest imc give it out free on a fixed scheduled and announce it upfront.

if i sell pen, but i know the margin for error is high, atleast 30% of the pen i manufacture is broken

i would sell 10+3free for same price instead of selling 10 for 30% less price.

now whose the marketing genius here

I am not saying that shouldnt be done, a free reset pot is a good idea and I approve it, but there is not so many huge changes to justify that.

So they never gonna give it for free, but AT LEAST they could sell it for a better price.

how do u justify the half done emoticon package they tried to sell recently

this TOS in its current state, is a total misadvertise and still wont be 60% playable by 2018.
its only possible imc still up and running because they run a gaming company

if IMC in the infrastructure or constructing business, they be long gone and still be chased after for debts and breaking-laws.

if imc in the manufacturing line or a food n beverage business, they be long closed down already

its lucky they make game barely able to work and still able to milk thousands of usd daily.

whose lucky? us player lucky to play a cool game called TOS?
or
IMC lucky to be able to milk money on a halfdone product.

a predictable and quarterly free reset is needed to appreciate fans’ support and to sustain a overall active playerbase without discrimination (whether u up wrong skill/stat or patches change the way the game plays out)

even so, this reset can be a new TOS tradition so player can play without having to worry or resent imc for any unforseen changes.

TOS changes is more frequent than a 15years old moba dota, while dota is a 1hour game, TOS is a long term time and effort investment.

Helping community for what? I probably entering my “white knight” mode now. But resets currently can just negligible and IMC mostly will give seasonal free depending on updates that will only 1-2 times in a year (that if you still playing for this year and not crying I missed free resets because I’m not lurking on forum/websites)

Making characters to rank 6 is easy now provided you don’t spend huge TP for unnecessary things like tradable costumes… Make some silver hoarders one like Scout 3/Pyro Agny/Pardoner then you ready to fund 10+ characters whatever you want even if it’s failed/horrible build. If you don’t want spent TP for char slots make another account…

My one cent here is as long you don’t do silly basics like put STR to Wizard and INT to Archer, build can easily altered without resets. I have a lot of characters spread to different servers+accounts and I only describe one character that “failed” which is Swordman without Pain Barrier + buffs (imagine Cleric without Heal lol). Build does not need to be perfect but can fill your goal. Most people common mistakes are making PvE characters then enter PvP lol one shotted, can’t do anything but that is just this game has horrible PvP system than how the class system works…

It is pure CON for clerics and wizards, along with DEX plus some CON for the others. If you violate against that, you fail.

I have a stat reset potion and i dont even need to use it. But there is a lot of people who need that spend a lot of time and money on R8 characters and simply dont want do create another one.
