IMC and Liveops

This is actually the funniest thing I’ve ever read.

ToS was worth.

The problem is not that they have their weekend offs. Its people that are reviewing the game negatively based on ASSUMPTIONS.
80% of the ‘‘bugs’’ i see in this forums is just people being stupid. Killing mobs when you actually need to interact with it, not using their quest item or simple diferent game design.
The game will not crash and burn. It will survive to all these rants of people that cant wait a day or two, or even in some cases a few minutes.

Sorry but the game was just not ready for release.

Doesn’t matter if they needed money or not.

Releasing an unfinished/buggy game is asking for a terrible first impression, and that’s what stays to the community.

If they can’t manage their resources to make a finished game by release, they are clearly failing at the business process. A game is a business like any other, if your initial investment wasnt high enough then you’ll pay the consequences.

That being said, I’m not treating it like a sinking ship. I’m not leaving the game and i’m not asking for a refund. I’d love to see this game work. And as a professional game developer, I’m helping them the best way I can by reporting bugs with as many details as possible.

That’s so incorrect where do I start first of all this is a MMORPG it will never be finished for a MMO is constant secondly its not that buggy compared to games I’ve played in the past this is far from the buggiest mess I’ve played.

Manage their resources? you don’t even know what they have in terms of resources this is what is referred to as an assumption your assuming stuff with little information like most people who are pessimistic peasants making justification’s on such negativity and exaggerating how bad it is when in reality it is not that bad.

The things you mentioned you are treating it like a sinking ship the main point you put across is “IMC does not have scaled enough and fully prepared team to support this game!” your words not mine if I am correct to believe this you do understand the complexity’s of a mmorpg right? its not like a simple single player game or a multiplayer game that holds 32 players a side its a far bigger project then that and it will always have a number of bugs and issues that need ironing out.

If you think the game isn’t buggy, try making a topic saying “this game isn’t buggy at all” in general threads section and see how people react. Right now it’s so buggy to the point people can’t connect to klaipeda server.

I don’t need to know their resources to say they need to manage them well. Your argument is not even an argument.

Yes I do understand the complexity of a MMO for I have worked on the development of some of them. And again, I’m not treating it like a sinking ship. I’m saying they took terrible decisions and the current game situation is reflecting them.

I never said it was not buggy but its not as bad as your making it out to be…

wait what? let me get this right “I don’t need to know their resources to say they need to manage them well. Your argument is not even an argument.”

Yet you said this “If they can’t manage their resources to make a finished game by release, they are clearly failing at the business process.”

So your saying you don’t need information regarding there resource management because you know by not knowing how does that even make a lick of sense…

Oh here we go I’ve heard this so many times its not funny anymore next your going to put up some information that you some how acquired for this post about how your some skilled programmer with the understanding of everything to do with the subject matter let me guess master degree in programming with everything to do with MMO’s…

Just save it I was not born yesterday to be that gullible because anyone can look up Wikipedia find information on programming qualifications copy and paste it and say they are what it said…

You do understand the metaphor behind a sinking ship right? it means its going down a path with little chance of coming back up speaking in such negative tones to a game that is barely a week old is just that your not giving it much chance your expecting change from such little time span and you have little to no understanding of what is happening up at IMC HQ.

So you are saying that one need to taste s.hit before saying that it tastes awful?

FYI - 61%

alot of out of ass information u have no idea about anything kiddo… so just forget it

I couldn’t agree more, BUT then again these guys live in Gangnam(Richy Rich area of S.Korea) Which I don’t think is bad but it could mean they don’t really give a F… This is some side project to them probably isn’t even much of a bother… which is a damn shame because it could be great.

I was actually thinking if you really cared about your product, AND you got 3x (3 TIMES) more people that bought the game then you expected; PAY YOUR STAFF OVER FCKING TIME and have your game be going strong.
Atleast keep the people that PAID to play the game happy.

Wow such a horrible comparisons yes lets compare tasting poop to managing staff resources because clearly there the same in your mind that has so many different variables you cant even begin to understand the complexity’s.

What I am saying is use your brain and think look into stuff deeper and stop assuming what is on the surface is what is happening we have no idea what is happening over at IMC HQ we have no idea of how they are handling it but you should stop with assuming what they are doing is in a negative lets put this gem of information out there.

For instance programming if someone did a great job programming but its not mentioned and it does not show but the product works no one really will blink an eye at it now if a patch is applied and it messes up the product your going to complain regardless of its state before hand act like a child with assumptions with no information and judge how you believe it should be fixed or how there doing a horrible job.

you do understand over time is optional right your treating it like they must be forced to do overtime because you are unhappy… sounds like you think IMC run a slave worker union you do understand its Easter right some of these staff would very much like to spend it with there family’s not working under pressure from some brat.
