#This is painful to look at =/

This game is amazingly fun and I’m enjoying it but the future is so grim that even the forum posts reflect people’s negative outlook on things.
It’s really sad =/
SEA folks are at work/school or still asleep. It’s 6:30am at where I’m at.
That is cute.
4,126 Tom Clancy’s The Division
3,590 DOOM
3,202 WildStar
Yeah but compared to previous 56k. Many MMOs are expected to lose from 50-60% of the playerbase within the first year. Tree of Savior has lost 85% of the playerbase in a few months lol.
That’s sorta extreme.
How long the game was open for incoming players and how long it was closed?
I
I was discussing this with @the7crowmisfits last night… I’m so picky about MMOs and there is nothing else that catches my fancy.

Captain Coffee going down with the ship…

That is a factor, true, but are you certain that if IMC allowed new players to start playing as soon as next week, that it would reinvigorate this game?
I have a feeling that it will not last longer than a couple months if that. There are too many core problems that have been left unfixed and no one knows what IMC’s agenda really is. We just get a surprise patch every week and hope it’s something good.
Just don’t confuse the company behavior with the game, I know there are people who blame the game and most, if not all, only talk crap about stuff they don’t understand or follow outdated information.
I love this game, i have fun with it, but i would have more fun if they fix the stuttering, the lag caused by unnecessary data going and coming, lifting most of these useless restrictions and actually doing something about the bots.
So far the so called anti-bot system didn’t do a thing as far as i am aware, if the only thing it does is send PMs/emails to the Admin/GMs so they can check and ban after is pretty much what we do by reporting the bots.
Fixed type, probably have more, my head today is out of order lol.
From what I can tell. They only ban obvious bots and the ones with the usernames like “gjlksf” or whatever. If they actually DID investigate bots by sending GMs out to investigate, bots like Snowdance would be gone already…
honestly I don’t know what mmorpg to play next. mayble I’ll just play blade and soul again? or just yolo overwatch.
ok time to do mmorpg research again
This looks like a case of who can handle the most abuse. Im going to outlast all of you
Challenge issued.
And what is your point? What is the purpose of scaremongering showing completely normal and expected (better than expected to be true) number of online players?
Konami will buy it and turn it into a Pachinko machine.
Oh, didn’t know I was scaremongering. I was serious that I’m going to keep playing this game and go down with the ship. This game is fun to me.
But I feel justified with my worrying. Sorry you don’t feel the same way.
I’ve actually never been one to let a lot of irritating things push me away from a game if the core gameplay is fun enough. Buuuut I still feel like voicing concerns anyways in hopes that things move in a better direction
I preferred it when it was a dooms day theory, way more fun.
My fear is not be possible to solve the game problems because engine limitations. The current number of players is, trust me, better than expected.
The usefulness of the topic that is 404.
