I'm new and I'd like to play?

Hello everyone,

After a 2 day search for a new mmorpg to get into I got really excited about this one. The only problem is…I’m unable to play? I see no way of downloading/signing up and I’m about to cry.

I now read something about new players being blocked from joining? Can someone explain this to me? And is there no way for me to get into this game right now? And if not, when would you reckon I could start playing?

What do you mean by fixing? I really don’t get what’s going on here, cause I literally just found out about this game. This game must be doing great because most mmorpg’s are dieing for new players, but they block people from joining? I haz monies! (will me yelling this help?)

Anyway, how long do you expect I’ll have to wait? Like a day? A week? Months? Or is there no way you could give me an estimate? I don’t know if this happened before.

Indefinite.

The game got temporarily pulled to new players in order to stabilize/optimize the game and fix key issues that have been causing a lot of players to quit. Basically, they want to fix the game so people don’t drop it in like 2 seconds after trying it out.

IMC blocked new players because there are MANY issues with the game, including but not limited to:

  • Server lag growing progressively worse during the week
  • Bad networking/routing in general to the servers
  • Bots and gold sellers
  • TERRIBLY coded game client which has massive FPS drops all the time
  • Broken skills (broken as in bugged, not imba)
  • Mispriced TP (cash shop currency) items
  • etc

I think by closing the game to new players, they are trying to show their resolve that they will make things right

We have no idea when they will re-open the game to new players

Think of it as this way… This is a city that was shown great promise of the future of gaming, the land of honey and wine, all that jazz… THEN… BAM, Raccoon City MOTHAFUCKA!! lol

So yeah basically we are under isolated quarantine so it’s off to players new until the virus has subsided… Destroyed o.o…

The temporary restrictions limiting access for new players to Tree of Savior are now in place.

We will try our best to resolve the aforementioned issues and lift these restrictions as soon as possible.

There will be another announcement when we are ready to once again allow access to new players.

Some of us have waited like 2 years after first hearing about it and getting hyped. Im sure you can survive however long this will take. Especially if it means the game will be less plagued with possibly quite frustrating issues by then Dx

another one of those guys claiming the game is dead. sad.

OP: all you can do is wait. they have not announced anything yet. i will recommend you to go to tosbase.com and plan your build because it is very important. atleast you wont go blind into the game. search for infos that will give you an easier life starting the game. hope to see you in game soon. :slight_smile:
