Apparently I’ve been playing this game wrong, having it hooked up on a speaker (w/ subwoofer). This time I plugged it in a great pair of Headphones + a portable amplifier and was totally surprised how out of this world the music is. I’m in LOVE.

I love ToS BGM but when I listen to RO BGM again, I feel like ToS BGM still missing something.
ToS BGM are more impressive and mature, while RO BGM are more memorable and heartwarming.
I want more beautiful BGM like this

Give a little more credit to The concepts they had at least game wise.
On paper, the core game looks extremely enjoyable. Everything seems nice and honestly give anyone this core game and they’d see extreme enjoyment in their future.
With IMC’s blatant misdirection though…we’re here.

I’m testing it both with Audio Technica m50x http://www.audio-technica.com/cms/headphones/99aff89488ddd6b1/
and
Sennheiser Momentum On Ear http://en-us.sennheiser.com/momentum-on-ear-m2
m50x seems to do a better job capturing the full spectrum of sound with heavier bass response, while the Momentum seems to give a better all rounded mid while providing a more comfortable and lighter fit for longer gaming.
Both Headphones are using FiiO Headphone Amplifier E11
I totally agree how magical the feeling of the Ragnarok Town is like Geffen. Payon for that chill forest vibes, Prontera and Izlude for that adventure feel, while Morroc for that frontier feel. The list goes on and on…

oh the entry level stuff. i have the original m50, but i don’t really like the sound of it. it’s really boxed in. don’t know why it got it’s hype though. i wonder how the m50x are but my main headphones arent my m50s. those are my throw in the bag traveling headphones now.
I don’t know about you guys but I really hate the Clubbing/House ToS BGM. I really really really really really really hate those Clubbing music, sound really cheap!!! The rest BGM are very good though.
Sure, I agree with you. It wasn’t the artwork and music alone that attracted me, but the way the game is now is disheartening. The game has been going downhill in general. Hopefully the new patch and pvp will bring some life to this game.

I find the music nice. But somehow it doesnt give me that RO feeling. I really miss RO. Do you think TOS is similar to RO or are they trying to steer away from being the ‘second RO’?
It should. But it also depends on IMC. They’re not the WORST, but they’re misguided and it keeps stabbing at you like Effigy. Someone should make a video about the concerns we have to try and make it glaringly simple for them.
I’d do it if my PC wasn’t a borderline toaster.

I’d enjoy the artwork and graphics much more if the game didn’t eat 85% my my CPU cycles.
