I'm bored so... Someone make me a weird build, please. (I said please)

Currently bored with what i’m currently playing (keep jumping between characters realising something is better or worse than I thought and since the update is due soon that makes it even worse)

So basically, I’d like to see if there’s any creative minds out there to make some weird and wacky theme based builds (So no picking combos that would make my life hell, such as a warrior where every rank is into a different type of weapon.)
The only requirement is that every skill can be used at the same time. (Giving pretty much a free pass to any mage or cleric build)
I’ll decide on what stats to use with the build to prevent people from saying pure spirit warrior… Unless there’s a hidden area of warrior I’m oblivious to I don’t think that’d work very well.

This could be your chance to force a poor soul into playing what you believe to be the worst build ever, could also be a chance to get verdicts on builds you’d never be willing to try yourself.
All I know is if i’m forced into doing something like this I might be willing to get past rank 3. (Seriously though, unless i’m missing something rank 3 is hell. Then again i’m an anti-social shit and being in a party provides a lot more exp… Seriously if you swear in brackets it removes the censor? )

Anyway, have fun. Hopefully at-least one build is made. (Enjoy the game, find the classes lack lustre. For every skill I like in a build there’s 5/6 I don’t, which is good for the skill system we have but awful if there’s only 1 or 2 per rank 3 class and you usually have to be rank 3 to get them.)

I’m terrible at coming up with unusual builds so I’ll leave that suggestion to somebody else.

Cleric 1 > Krivis 1 > Diev 1 > Sadhu 1 > Monk 1 > Oracle 1 > Miko > Taoist 1

Auto attack dagger mage with linker enchant fire enchant lighting and cryomancer (to increase lighiting proprity damage + linker bonus)

Otherwise…
Tank mage (The only thing is you can’t use much skill while in giant)
Giant double your HP-MDF-PDF
You can get thaum 2 to get the defense buff before doubling it with Giant
You can go full int and get a massive amount of hp by swicht to full con (Bonus of 80% on rank 8 because that how INT work)**You just need to get heal…
Seem fun for pvp as long there noboody to clean your buff out (Miko/Plague Doctor) but just running around jumping on people taking 1 damage for most skill with your 300k+ hp pool. (Still a perfect game like that will not happen that often…)

Well that didn’t take long.
I was expecting one of them at some point and to be fair, doesn’t go against any rules.

That first one gave me an idea, swapping out Cryo for Elementalist (Maybe you meant elementalist with the lightning property damage bit)
To do Wiz 1 > Pyro 1 > Linker 2 > Ele 3 > Enchanter X

Pyro for enchant fire (Bleh, until the update and then it actually becomes somewhat decent.) Linker 2 for lightning bonus, Ele 3 for Electrocute and Rain, Enchanter for Enchant Lightning.
(I know electrocute goes against the build a bit but I need at-least one filler skill while JP+HK is on cooldown.)

Try to make the most out of Tree Of Savior’s hatred for anything earth or lightning.

(Second build sounds fun and I thought they’ve made it so you can use any skill while giant, maybe only implemented in ktos so far (Or someone was bsing somewhere or saying they should do it.). I’d have to flesh that build out a little more.)

Edit:
Pmsl, just seen rune of giant for the first time… Really tempted to make a support class for it now. (If skills are limited going for pure stat boosting classes should help it.)

Huh, a full int thauma (+ some int gear), included Giants buff net’s you +2k Magic attack.
From buffs alone. Cool.
That’s excluding attributes, assuming the buff other people in the party get is based off your stats, even without the giants buff that’s a 1.6k att/matt you’d be giving them.
Well maybe 1.5k for the physical attackers as the int would be useless.

Giant don’t boost your damage.
It only boost the Hp/Magic Defense/Physical Defense based on the guy who took the rune.(x2)
Except for the attribut that give 60xYour con as bonus Hp (Transpose make that a pretty big bonus)**Added After the x2 Hp of giant.

Right now only Wizard 1-3 skill and RC skill are usable while in giant.
I wouln’t be suprise if the bug is still there … Been a while it exist … I mean… a WHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIILE
Anyway once someone exit the graphic loading of the giant guy and come back it will be normal for him.

Cryo got an attribut that increase lightning damage on frozen target, the point of this build was to maximise lighting proprieties damage with Dagger hit on a bunch of linked mobs.
But kinda hard to profit of the short duration of frozen effect.
Soo here an exemple of build that work on a Physical oriented dagger mage.

It says a 20% Maximum Strength boost (in kToS version.)
I assumed that meant stuff like Attack/Magic attack, but yeah had I read it on tos base it’s defence and hp.

Also rip, 100% boost > 20% boost now.

They should make it give an attack/magic attack boost as well. Since when would a giant not be stronger >.>

I just know about the current RC and they plan to make it able to use all wizard skill (Kinda waiting for it)

Also yeah that the one but like said previously it also kinda hard to use because the frozen time is quite low.

Wow, due to this thread i’ve been looking into some more unorthodox combinations. There’s stuff that I didn’t even know existed that actually combo up rather well out there.

Like Pyro 1, Kino 1, Cryo 1.
Using surround a fireball with icewalls then use Psychic Pressure. Gives a large scale AoE attack surrounding you whilst a heavily concentrated attack in front of you. (Didn’t even know PP and Fireball did that. Shame they’re nerfing fireball.)

Because Sadhu is OP. (๑˃̵ᴗ˂̵)و

Roll a die for each rank.
For rank 1 :
1 -> archer
2 -> cleric
3 -> wiz
4 -> swordi
5 or 6 -> reroll

And then , for example as wizard, rank 2 would be decided by another roll:
1 -> wizard C2
2 -> pyro
3 -> cryo
anything else -> reroll

And so on… if the die decides that you should pick a class that you already maxed at C3 in previous rolls -> reroll.

If Weapon usage or stats are a concern : If the die decides that you should pick a class that is weapon-incompatible or stat-incomatible with your previous ranks -> reroll

Already have one of them for a side character. I was planning on doing a zombie werewolf build. (Bokor druid)
Gave it up after I found out Lycon is awful post damage update.
Still have the character and probably will revive it, but as of currently lycon is one of the worst dps skills. (It’s attacks are slow and with the new damage formula it’s damage is sub par. If they buff them i’ll go back to it. Probably ditch the bokor though, realised it’s awful in any area where zombie usage is limited.)

Edit: Saying that they might be better than what they look. The person doing the videos showing it off might have had incredibly poor gear. (Either way 2.5k hits on nearly 60k HP enemies is awful. 6k if he used the other skills which is a little better i guess.)

Tempting idea for after the update, once leveling is easier during the lower damage due to higher mob exp and damage. (My 300 Magic attack staff will be doing more than 300 damage XD… Seriously though, current formula sucks. Cost me a fortune to make a 300 magic attack level 40 staff. (I know I could have done a hammer but who has that level of money early game. Easier to upgrade 3 gems than 5.))
(Didn’t take too long to make, got freakishly lucky and dropped 4 dungeon clear tokens in a day… That was the first day i’d managed to get 1 drop let alone 4.)

It might not be as bad as it looks (He has really poor stats now i’ve seen them.)

Maybe it is better than it looks? Looks horrible though.

It’s attack speed seems slow and it’s damage doesn’t make it any better.
It’s a shame because barring it’s damage I really like it. (The types of skills it has is a plus as well, gives you variety.) The big issue comes in though against low def enemies, meaning classes that reduce enemy defence isn’t too beneficial to a lycon.

Funnily enough it has a nearly perfect 2:1 scaling with monks double punch.
Unfortunately that means you need twice the power on a lycon to do the same as a monk. (As in 4k Attack AND 4k magic attack to do the same damage as a just 4k attack monk. (Or 6k attack 2k magic attack, but if you had 6k attack you might as well play a monk…))

Looks like he’s using a Fedimian Club… Which if you take into consideration how much weapons effect your damage in the new changes, I think that might be the case. :x at least I hope.

I went out of my way to show you my damage thinking you meant the current situation of ToS. It’s not relevant now, but hey I’ma put it here just coz. :smile:

WOW… May i ask what your current Attack and Magic attack are?
(BTW, unless iToS is different, stonehenge got nerfed. (I’m sure it was supposed to be 20% over there instead of the 100% we have, it’s now 10%))

… Actually nvm, int gives more after the update and weapons too.
Gimmie a sec to calculate what attack+magic attack you’d need to do that damage post update.

Here are the numbers. I did use Hengestone before Lycan transformation. Lycan at level 5.
