I’m not their dev so I’m just throwing things around…
Perhaps their quick fix actually cause more data congestion since it now requires a player -> weed npc lock rather than allowing everyone else to interact with the npc.
And yeah, server-side lag can be due to many factors, just wondering why IMC only choose to announce it 1 week later when so many people complain about it since last week. Perhaps they were banking on the regular Tue maintenance to miraculously clear the issue but sadly it didn’t.

To be fair, from what I’ve heard from them, most of initial coding is trial and error until they are finalized, but doing that trail&error in a game’s live server is just plain stupid.
Its a matter of lags, not bugs. I think most of the people here can agree about the fact that bugs can be bearable, lags nope.
Its an online game. If it has major lags, it’s then unplayable.
Its a very sad situation, at least for me. I really think that the care and love of which this game was made is palpable. i mean the game design: the art, the music, the level design, the world of tos itself:
The way it was rushed (i really think we got not a beta, but an alpha at first), and how the issues were handled by imc later its kind of insulting and really discouraging. Almost depressing.

I support the game and enjoy it but some of their pricing schemes seem way out of line with what they offer.
That may be true but what’s the point in rushing to release content instead of trying to stabilize the playerbase first? In the end they will be releasing R10 for 500 players that are left.

The impression I get from this game is that everything is already finished. They are just delaying contents to get people from leaving. There are inumerous bugs that are here for a long time, they are not fixing/testing anything. It’s just a cash grab right now.

Yeah.agreed. Maybe I’m mistaken and ToS will rise again, but with all the problems that this game have, and the model it was launched as a free to play, I don’t see it coming up.
The most annoying thing about this game are the restrictions: marketplace, trade, dungeon, rank builds that are locked away from contents, and the most annoying one: Megaphones. Holy crap.
Is the 2 sec self stun bug still in the game? The one that you freeze on animation and can’t take any actions and the skill doesn’t come out
