I'm actually surprised that people are still playing. So how are things going my fellow HUE guardians?

Sadly, games and player quality has dropped. Players have lost the ‘eye of an adventurer’, they no longer want to make a story of their own in a virtual world. Nowadays, they’d rather read the story laid out for them.

Rather than new world/story content, IMC should have refined and balanced the classes for the PvP/GvG content of the game cos’ those are always part of true endgame content in MMOs, since story can keep going on and on till the game closes.

I don’t understand what this is supposed to mean

They’ll eventually fix it 6months later… huehuehue

well as the saying goes, fixing (non-critical) bugs doesn’t bring in revenue, making new content does…it’s just IMC doesn’t consider the awful lag as a critical bug :love_letter:

Hopefully that is not the case.

I haven’t experienced many big issues through a majority of my time playing, i suppose it could be considered a hidden fortune, I have some concerns sometimes - but i often do not question these matters in the open.

Lag affects the general gameplay of everyone. I’m kind of surprised and disappointed at IMC for not treating it with greater urgency since it is classified “under issues that is crippling the general gameplay of everyone”. Instead we just get a list of known issues a week+ after it is reported by many people.

This was the same type of response they gave to the mega Silute lag…they end up “fixing it” after one month by moving the server to the US.

The lags reminds me back then when we have like 10 thousand over players :disappointed_relieved:

However i wasn’t affected as much as i just rush mission and saalus/dun on work days.

Probably it is the “harvest exploit fix” that is causing the lag? since it is hastily put up to quickly stop the exploit from continuing.

If that’s the case. It will be lag for another 2 weeks then. :joy:

I’m not their dev so I’m just throwing things around…

Perhaps their quick fix actually cause more data congestion since it now requires a player -> weed npc lock rather than allowing everyone else to interact with the npc.

And yeah, server-side lag can be due to many factors, just wondering why IMC only choose to announce it 1 week later when so many people complain about it since last week. Perhaps they were banking on the regular Tue maintenance to miraculously clear the issue but sadly it didn’t.
