I'll be traveling to Argentina soon. Any tips?

To those who don’t know, I’m a brazilian. Next week, for the first time, I’ll be going to Foz do Iguaçu and I’ll also spend two days in Argentina (Puerto Iguazú).

Now, I know Puerto Iguazú is very close to Brazil and I’ll probably have little trouble having my way around because most places speak portuguese or portuñol, but is there any thing about Argentina a foreigner should know?

I’m also accepting recommendations of things to do around Foz do Iguaçu/Puerto Iguazú/Ciudad del Este. Of course I’m going to see the falls from both countries’ parks, and I’m also going to visit Itaipu and the Wanda Mines.

Also, if any Spanish speakers could help me translate some sentences, I’d really appreciate. Mi español es una caca.

I can’t really help. I’m just here to wish you a good time on your travels.

I’ve seen a documentary once that pointed out a really bad issue with fake money being used in Buenos Aires.

I’m not sure about the city you’re going to, but you should keep an eye out for taxi drivers trying to scam you with fake money and such.

Here’s the show in case you want to watch (very interesting btw):

Thanks for that info, I’ll be sure to watch that as soon as I find the time.

Even though I’ll be using my own car (São Paulo, my city, is about 675 miles away from Foz do Iguaçu), I’ll keep an eye out for scammers. I was already wary of Ciudad del Este’s (Paraguay commercial border city where I’ll probably go on a shopping spree ) reputation, now I’ll be wary of scammers on Argentina and even in my own country.

One can never be too careful, thanks for reminding me.
