If you could rework a single skill, what would it be?

This is purely for cosmetics, but I’d love to change Scout’s camouflage barrel to an actual cardboard box like in the icon. I was so disappointed to find that the skill hid you in a barrel instead of a cardboard box. I want to be Solid Snake j__j

Create Shoggoth - I was FOOLED by old videos thinking shoggoth was a monster created by the body parts you absorbed and took the form on the boss monster in the card put in your necronomicon

I didnt want to cheat! but since i love alchemist i’ll have to.

Basically change this 3 skills to synergize with each other.

1.- Dig: Max level 5 (Ovearheat 2):

  • Cooldown 30sec
  • Recive 2 materials each 1 skill point level.
  • Removed dig animation
  • Make it targetable, the alchemist throw a shovel that deals damage and the items pop up from the ground.
  • Base damage 50% per skill level. (Max 250%)
  • Unused materials will disappear over time.
  • Will not explot regular monster drops anymore.

2.- Alchemist missile (Overheat 2):

  • Cooldown 32 secs
  • Change the animation (Its just another energy bolt, dont be lazy)
  • It can abosrb materials from the ground to change its property and deal extra damage per material absorbed(Max 5).
  • Damage increases 10% per material absorbed
  • Hidden interaction, can change property with fireballs, ice walls that are nearby.

3.- Combustion:

  • Targeteable
  • Materials near to the initial explotion will explode too but will deal only 10-20% of the initial explotion damage. (Max 5)

Reasoning:

  • Combustion and dig
    This skills are not used at all, the concept of the combo was good but the execution was poorly done.
  • Dig has horrible animation and most of the time, since its not targetable, you end up picking up most of the items that you get from it, thus rendering the combustion combo usless
  • Currently even with the materials from dig, damage from combustion its lackluster and since its not targetable its very hard to aim making it a poorly designed skill.

- Alchemist missile:

  • This skill its just an upgraded energy bolt, to me this its just prove of the little they care about this class. Make this their own thing! make it exciting to use.

All in all it would be nice if alchemist had its own signature stuff instead of just being a dead roast npc. The potential its there but they fail to see it, the dig-combustion-alchemist missile combo would make this class very fun and unique to play, at least IMO.

Also, gimmicks are always fun, hidden interaction with cryomancer and pyromancer would make things even better.

Double Punch to be the default weapon attack for Monk making it cost no stamina and use fist weapons instead of maces/swords.

I would change Oracle’s Gender Switch skill so that it actually includes all the other 97 existing genders.

Corsair C3: Pistol Shot.
Currently not able to use skill while riding on companion.
Rework Version: able to use skill while riding on companion.

If Hoplite C3: Spear Throw is able to and i can use my secondary weapon (i.e. pistol) to auto-attack while riding, i don’t understand IMC’s decision for Pistol Shot…oh right. i forgot. IMC’s Logic. yes…that’s why. :joy::rofl:

Rework Elementalist’s Fire Property: Explosion and Ice Property: Slow to the following:

Elementalist: Fire Property Specialty
Pyro Circle 3 Required

Prominence now has 3 trails of fire instead of two.
Meteor leaves behind a version of Flame Ground on the area of impact.

Elementalist: Ice Property Specialty
Cryo Circle 3 Required

Ice shards from Hail have a slightly larger radius, and deal 20% bonus damage on frozen enemies.
Frost Cloud reduces enemies’ movement speed by 30% while inside it.

Elementalist: Freezer Burn
Cryo 3/Pyro 3 required

Attacking a frozen enemy with Fire property skills will apply a DoT on the enemy. The DoT’s damage is increased if the enemy has the burning status applied on them.

Attacking a burning enemy with Ice property skills will consume the burn status, but will cause an explosion around the enemy equal to the damage dealt by the burn if it ticked for the remaining duration.

Since there are few pyro~eles and cryo~eles due to Elementalist’s high cast times, I feel that there should be a bigger benefit from picking pyro/cryo~ele, especially upon reaching circle 3 of pyro/cryo.

I would revert changes to fireball so that i can play my main again.

Cannoneer’s Bazooka, make it as fast to enter / exit as Kneeling Shot

THIS. Its almost impossible to utilise bazooka in any meaningful manner because of the absurd delay combined with bosses with a 100 different knockback skills.

Revenged Sevenfold is broken.

Make Revenged Sevenfold last 7 seconds and have 70 seconds cooldown.

Change Barbarian’s pouncing so it’s the Swordsman equivalent of Quarrel Shooter’s Running Shot.

Instead of being a short duration active attack with low % scaling, it’s a buff that allows you to use normal attacks while dashing and gives a % base damage bonus for the duration.
