Is Ice Wall + Psychic Pressure still a thing while bossing?
And if so, should I give 15 points to Ice Wall?
Its damage isn’t great anymore, but it can freeze bosses, so it’s definitely still worth the investment.
Is Ice Wall worth 15 points?
Not really, but there’s not much in Cryo that’s worth maxing, so I’d max it anyway.

So that leaves me with 10 points. I’m going to all in on either Subzero Shield or Snow Rolling. Subzero Shield got changed and I’m not sure if it’s reliable anymore outside of PvP. Does Subzero Shield freeze bosses as well? If so then Subzero Shield might be worth it. Snow Rolling damage got a huge buff but it’s useless in bossing and it’s rather hard to use and can’t use potion while rolling. Which one do you think is better?
Yeah, Subzero Shield can freeze bosses so I maxed it too. It’s actually even less reliable in PvP because of diminishing returns and 3% of your max SP is drained every time it procs.

I was deciding between Snow Rolling and Subzero Shield all night. So I guess Subzero Shield is the one to max.
Ice wall + pp is still decent. Its skill factor still same (huge). Just that many other skills’ factor boosted so they can obliterate boss too.
1 shard is 100% matk
Total factor : (20 hits from pp + 20 hits from gravity pole) x (3 shards per hit) x (16 tiles)
that is 192000% and landing full hit is not that hard since frost pillar can freeze normal bosses ( level dungeon, Bernice, challenge mode)
In addition, ice wall also can freeze bosses for 20-25 sec.
I recommend using cryo-psy-onmy to have full potential of ice wall + pp + gp.
For skill build I am currently using
Ice Pike 5
Ice wall 15
Subzero shield 10
Snow rolling 10
Frost pillar 5
But snow rolling is quite buggy (caster actually move while animation doesn’t while caster still take dmg). So maybe better put points in Ice Pike instead.
