I want to be Healer/Support but not with Cleric 2

Hello guys,

I was leaving a C2>K>Paladin3>Pandore Full SPR / CON however when I have to play with a team I hate to heal with my cleric heal boxes, I don’t like this way to heal.

I am wondering if there are another way to be healer in this game or a good support (PVE)…maybe Priest with Mass Heal?

Another question… what is the more useful Priest/Chaplin build atm?

Finally… when we could use the R8, will be useful to use a Cleric> Priest3 > Paladin3> Chaplin (SPR/CON)??

i would take cleric c2, cleric c2’s heal will go a long way and divine might is a really good buff. the only other heal is priest mas heal, but if u go priest ur kind of forced to go the traditional preist/chapain or pardoner route.

Arguably, Cleric C2 heal is really good and sufficient for a whole party
Mass heal will do too

But if you seriously need more healing utility without taking Cleric C2 then either go PD for the healing factor or Kabbalist for Ein Sof.

Then you are out of luck. There’s only one other healing ability (mass heal), and it’s not likely to be enough on its own.

:(… is it not possible use mass heal level 10 and only use my heal boxes level 5 in a big emergency?

Then I think I have to re roll… maybe try with a support class and not healer. Which support class do you recommend to me?

I love healing even in every MMORPG my main is always healer… (I miss my Holy Paladin in WOW), but I dont like healing with boxes in this game, I dont feel confi

You could play it like that yes, but your healing would be less. It does give you some more support options like Resurrection 5 (for lower cast time), Revive, and Stoneskin.

A few things to keep in mind if you want to go for a build with priest:
Mass Heal doesnt overheat like Heal does, so you can only use it once with a moderate cooldown.

It can also be pretty hard to hit the entire group (or the people you want to heal) with it. Those healing tiles are the main source of healing in the game, unfortunately. That said, Mass Heal at 10 does heal for a good amount.

Stoneskin is a great ability, but it only works on (all) physical damage. At higher levels expect to need a large amount of SPR (Rough estimate, 150+)) to have a block chance above 50%. Ofcourse even if it only blocks 25% of the time, that’s still that much damage reduction of physical damage.

I’m not too sure about the other options (Plague Doctor, Krivis, Paladin) as I don’t have much experience with those.

Thank you for you reply.

I am wondering I you could share with me your priest build and stats are you using?
Thanks

Note that this is a partial testing build (after skill reset).
Its less of a healing/support build then it is a custom solo build (with supporting capability).

My stats are: 100 CON/100 SPR, and the rest into INT.

*Note:
Blessing 1 won’t work without the attributes (which requires blessing 3).

For a full support I would advice something like this instead:

Which still has room for 3 more ranks in addition to Priest.

There’s a loot of room for stats choices as well, CON, INT and SPR are all good stats too have.

Hello again,

What about the following two builds?, what is your opinion?

SPR and CON

And we will could get the R8 I will take Paladin 3

or

Maxing out resurrection will give a greater benefit (1 second faster cast) then Aspersio, so its a good idea to move one point there.

Whether to take aspersio 14 or Revive is up to you, but having a bigger heal and longer damage immunity on Revive is worth more in my opinion.

If you are taking Paladin with a support role in mind I would suggest

maxing Restoration instead of Smite.

Kabbalist is…a bit weird. Its hard to say what direction it will take in circle 2+ but personally I wouldnt recommend it, it’s a ‘‘advanced difficulty’’ class so to speak. Hard to use well.

Anything else about the remaining 3 ranks is better answered by someone with more experience with classes like PD/Paladin/Pardoner/Krivis.

PD is the standard pick for a Full Support build.

I was not a big fan of the tiles either. But I think you just need to get used to it~

Mass Heal is kind of bad in the way it works. The skill is an instant aoe circle (kind of small) but only for people in front of you. Basically your toon will “throw” its skill in the front, so only people who are in front of you and not too far (+ you) will get healed.
Problem with that is the cooldown: 30 seconds, and no overheat.
So you can’t spam it.
And in a party, it’s kind of hard to keep people grouped and not moving around everytime you want to heal. If it’s your main heal, when it’ll miss some people, you’ll be a bit scr*wed.

If you want to keep a level 5 Healing, I’d say not to max Aspersion and put extra points in Revive instead.
Revive is great, especially if you don’t go too massive on Healing. And a low level one is kind of “useless” since the person who’ll revive will have high chances of dying again right away (because of the low HP and invincibility duration after the resurrection).

Mass Heal, in my opinion, is more of a “last chance” heal.
The tiles are, in the end, easier to use (especially if you got it to 10) because better cooldown, overheat, and they stay on the ground quite a long time. So your teammates can use them again if they need.

For your second build (eee), you don’t need Simony. Your previous circles will be Priest and Cleric, so you won’t have many good skills to turn into scrolls.

Damage prevention is much better than regularly healing everyone, if you picked Cleric 2 you get lv10 safety Zone which gives anyone who steps on the circle invincibility for 42 hits at max attribute, very highly usefull in boss fights, mob fights and PvP you only need to cast it once unlike constantly healing everyone which will drain you quickly of sp

Your options are Cleric 2 or Priest 3 and you won’t be getting any new heals unless you go Plague Doctor.

Would highly suggest getting used to one of those methods because you absolutely will get overlooked in grind parties later for a Cleric that actually can heal or a Archer/Wizard that can put out a lot more damage than you.

I think I would like to try a Priest 3 way… but I cant find a nice/fun build… any idea?

Restoration sucks hard because of the in-combat regen penalties.
You should only level it to 3 for the attribute, and that’s it.

Smite is your ONLY DPS skill as a Paladin, you need to max Smite.
