Steam warns you about it before you purchase it. IMC is not at fault here.
You can’t ask for a refund, read reviews/purchase refundable goods only in the future to avoid these issues. It’s your job as a customer to gather information before you spend your money or take the inherent risk of early access on a free product.
Actually you CAN get a refund, just ask to steam and argue that the servers are crap and pretty sure if you are an honest user of steam with more games, long time in steam service, etc they are going to refund your money and IMC ban your account.
Lots of player do that with archeage after a couple of months playing, myself too, if the game isnt stable or dont offer what they said you can get a refund in steam, but dont try to scam steam in any other case.
Well, I can’t exactly sympathize with you. All I lost was some lunch money (9.99). Which I easily make back.
You aren’t getting your money back if you spent the TP and/or items associated with the packs. You made the choice, you made the gamble, it’s your own fault for not waiting.
Start a class action lawsuit with other people who realized how ■■■■ the game was, I can guarantee they have to refund you within a month. Most games allow refund within a month and I don’t think it’s because they want to. Many were MMOs.

Which mmos is that? I always see DLC being non refundable and the game itself you cant refund after 2 hours from steam.
Good luck with the legal fees, that’s all I can say.
This topic:
“I paid for early access to a beta version. The game that i paid beta-access for is still in beta. I want my money back.”
When paying for early access you can’t expect the game to run like a release version.
When the game reaches the public release-version and it still has these problems, then you have a right to complain.
Until then you’re playing an early access/beta version and when you paid for early access to this version you agreed that this pre-release version still might have problems.
Shame: You played more than 2 hours.
Secondarily, you paid for early access to a product that was not completed, and warned that it was not completed, could contain bugs, unfinished features, and was not a representation of a finished product. You AGREED that you were aware of this before making your purchase, so you are NOT eligible for a refund.

What are you talking about guys? Too much crap you are spouting about IMC is not responsible for it and its ok they didnt force us. You really people are stupid! learn to read between the lines this is what im saying
“Consider it more closely please. IMC did not converse with the community on the important issues. They only responded with tidbits here and there to make it appear they are taking things into consideration and working on solutions while they are in reality, ignoring us”
It is beta stage BBBBBBBBBBBUUUUUUUUUTTTTTTTT THEY SHOULDNT BE IGNORING US AS PAAAAAAYERRRS/SUPPORTERS!! HELL, even private servers reach out to players in 1 day if they are repetitively experiencing the same problem! You keep repeating this is BETA? SO??? WE DESERVE A PROPER RESPONSE EVEN IF THEY CANT FIX THE GAME AND YES THEY ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR IT, DONT EVEN ARGUE UNLESS YOUR STUPID
To be fair to the guy, IMC should just refund everyone because of how crap the game is.
READ THE LAST SENTENCE OF MY FIRST POST THEN TELL YOUR BRAIN TO WORK! at the very least
sorry, you can’t get a refund since 1. you probably played more than 2 hours and 2. the dlc pack is non refundable in the first place lmao
Seriously I hope IMC will reconsider pushing back the F2P release date amidst of all these unsolved issues.
Adding on F2P players will worsen the situation and cause more unhappiness to both the founders and F2P players. F2P players are usually swing players who will only invest time, effort and $$$ in the game when the game with worth their time.
Imagine when a F2P player log in to find commanderloadfails, massive spamming just to get into an instance, lags and freezes, unresponsive/delayed response npcs. Chances of them actually continue playing the game and leaving a good review is extremely low.
Yes there will be initial backlashes when the F2P date is shifted back yet again. But players generally will very very much prefer playing a game devoid of all the above problems.
As an F2P player would you like to play a game which is released earlier but need to spam 1hr to get into a dungeon/mission? Or a game which is released later but it just takes 5mins and under to get into a dungeon/mission?
Definitely! They should push back F2P opening, and at the very least pour there resources to expanding the existing servers to cater players who payed who cannot play properly. Then F2P can open after. Hell, server overload isn’t even a BETA BUG OR WHATSOEVER. They have the resources for this problem (I assume coz they are ready to open new server) and yet they are using it very wrong
Pushing back the F2P release date again?
LOL, yeah NO!
I read there’s already people pissing about different server (SEA) between those who paid for EA and thos playing for free. It already causes an uproar.
You won’t getting your money back, because you didn’t buy anything.Game was available for founders, who “donates” money to tos, to see it develop. In Return IMC allowed those who donated play/test unfinished game + some tp/token benefits.
Lol for these kind of posts. After you used something but it isn’t good as you expected then you request for refund? You bought Early Access to the server and able to access to the server earlier on. Now almost time for F2P and you are going to take back EA money? No way hahahahha… Then everyone should did it and get a refund when it comes near to F2P. If you are the one doing business will you allow that?
There isn’t really much uproar to be honest. You don’t see the SEA players creating multiple new threads everyday just to complain about the choice. We are a bunch of likable folks who understand the hard choices made by IMC and respect their decision. Sometimes in life when faced with 2 hard choices the only choice is to take the lesser evil, oh well.
Yes there are inconveniences caused as guilds who have EA and F2P players are divided, but that can be worked out. Our guild for instance, tried to get the F2P players in the guild an EA package so they can come into Telsiai.
Anyway whatever IMC’s decision is for F2P release date, it is up to them. I just hope that with F2P in, the developing team wun be stretched until too thin managing the servers that they can’t make updates/changes to solve all the current bugs.
