I understand not being able to respec, but what about future classes?

Do I just have to hope my stat allocation and class selections synergize with the upcoming classes?

For instance, say I really want to play a Shepard. Do I have to just guess whether it’s going to be a STR, SPR, or INT based class? And then if I’m wrong I have to reroll a new character from scratch?

YES!! =*(

Basically you’ll have to try to predict your build.

Which I get is hard. There’s a big chance you’ll be finding yourself making alts or re-rolling.

I wish you tons of luck though, and try to enjoy making fun builds that you’ll love even if it’s nerfed to heck. <3

You’re a cleric. Pray.

Yeah… This bothers me quite a bit as well.

Hopefully they will add more re-spec variations to the TP Shop in the future. With all of these restrictions in place it is quite hard to re-roll characters without taking a huge loss and hope they are futureproof.

im gonna make a shepherd ( hoping its strength bcz im levelign my monk alt now)
a full support taoist (which is now gonna be a cleric class, sorry support wizards)
and a fortune teller to add on to my sadhu

I was suddenly reminded of the days players in Ragnarok had level 80+ Swordsman pre release of 2-2 classes. Seeing swordsman with Fin Helms, forgot the level requirement, still grinding away in prep of changing to crusader. Fun times, cool atmosphere.

That’s another option… Rank 1 Base class and hit Lvl 280 in preparation for more class releases hahaha. That’d be some insanity though, very possible however with how most classes have viable auto attack builds. The hard part would be around 170 when things begin to hurt and you’re forced to kill similar level mobs throughout leveling.

And see, this is a big thing. Because I’m making a SPR paladin and hoping it’s a SPR based class. But honestly, I have no idea?

Oh, also, do you think the Shepard’s dog will take up a character slot? D:

If it’s like Falconer, yes.

falconer’s falcon takes up a slot? wow that’s terrible, i thought only companions took up spots. it seems weird having a falcon or a dog taking up a slot, you cant even name them ( i think )

I think my main issue is that there is no good solution? If there are respecs, I think they could be abused. If it was: every time a new class comes out, you get to redo one character per account, maybe that’d work? But I feel like it’d result in a lot of FotM.

The only real solution I can think of is to announce the classes really far in advance (which kind of already happened), and give us info about what stats they scale with and what role they fill?

I believe you can name them like any companion.
But I could be wrong on that.

… if they take up a slot that could be a problem. i mean the dog and falcon arent a companion so they shouldnt take a slot,…

All I know is it takes up a slot for Falconer with a falcon. Haha sorry.

awww lol. i guess i can stil go shepherd, or ill just go zealot maybe then. depending on how many free char slots we get

Good luck! I might get for Shepard too.

The dog is really cute. <3

Where did you see that Taoist is going to be a Cleric class?

Yeah, they’ll add a full INT scaling class in the swordsman tree

on sadhu thread in cleric class section. appearently the file was chaned from taoist_wizard to taoist_cleric.

That makes more sense.
