I think a lvl 280 one time quest to reset your points would be a nice ideia instead of a paid reset. Since it its a one time only thing you would have to think before using it.
This would be an incentive for people who built their status wrong (most of them because of the lack of information) to continue playing in their characters without rerolling (its very time consuming and its making the casuals quit the game and they are the majority of the players).
It would have to be a difficult quest, not one of those errand boy things we have in game right now, so you would have to fight for it.

I dont agree with job reset, i think they should just balance the classes. You should choose to play what you like, not whats “hot” right now, and its quite hard to pick a class by acident.
I think they should just make the class quests harder and more unique to their role, this way if you pick the wrong class (you really need to be distracted to do that, but it happens with some) you would have enough time to notice and the quest would even give you hints of what type of class it is. This way class changes gets funnier and more imersive.
But if you want a class reroll just so you could get all the meta classes whenever there is an update then you are a min-maxer exploiter of the game unbalance.
It seems as if nobody wants good things.
I want a silver potion in the shop. Costs 10 TP, makes you throw up 1 million silver. Beat that silver sellers!
