I told you F2P couldn't work

Been waiting on that US release since 2009. It’s like Half Life 3 all over again.

It doesn’t have to be, don’t wait for a US release. Its easy to access and they have a majority (if not all) of the text translated by now.

The reason it is doing so fine is because people there flat out just don’t bother with goldsellers, and the game doesn’t lag to hell despite servers being in Japan

Two of the reasons for that whole lack of goldsellers is that Easterns for some reason generally avoid buying gold from goldsellers, and moderation loves hitting you with permabans for buying gold. Take note, IMC.

also ship2 a shite

F2P models just dont work, i stand with you my man! F2p korean rpgs just end up to be a generic toxic community which is flooded by bots. Instead of them focusing on issues on the game they spend so much time on fixing server issues which could easily be fixeed IF WE FUNDED IT IN B2P.

its still not too late to save the game, and the community is still growing, it worked for GW2, Gw1 which are great b2p mmo

GW2 has been free-to-play for a long time now.[quote=“MaoMao, post:25, topic:277044”]

First of all, B2P and F2P “korean rpgs” all have bot problems in the West, even good old iRO had endless amount of bots when it was subscription based, and second of all, stop abusing the word “toxic” please, there’s a huge difference between something that actually harms organisms and something that’s filled with annoying assholes.

GW2 has been f2p but it was after YEARS since it started, and it was clearly funded better since it started B2P. Ive played gw2 since start and can say is that they encountered an exploit or bugs, they moved fast since they have the money to do so.

another thing, going on a b2p model surely wont stop bots, but im sure it will stop majority of influx of bots. you cant remove them entirely but its a better option than letting them suck out the server. and i stand on using the word “toxic” as its suits my expression regarding the community, welcome to the internet.

I could just make random baseless claims all over the place and eventually one of them would have some merit by pure chance.
