I thought this game was f2p? But there is no way to play without paying out 50 bucks? what am i missing is there a f20 server or something?
April 28 is when it opens F2P gate to everyone.
Right now it’s the headstart/early access/whatever you want to name it.

You could pay as little as $10 to get access if $50 is too much, but yes if you just wait a month it will be f2p.
Well, assuming you plan to buy TP (the cash shop currency) to support the game, the packs are more than free.
You get more TP than if you’d buy TP later for the same $ spent, and pack 1 and 2 have even more stuffs on top of that. The hats especially are not available in game nor cash shop right now.
