That’s just a response to whoever I responded to, I never even said I was even against having more dungeon runs lol. Good job making a mountain outta a molehill. I actually would like a few more dungeon runs, but not endless runs.

Don’t really understand how you could not make sense of my post and turn a personal conclusion into an argument, then put words in my mouth about how I’m against 24/7 dungeon spamming and not against 24/7 mob grinding.

If thats the case then i apologize for misunderstanding you. The way you worded it made it sound like you disapprove of people running dungeons all day
because people “should do more creative things and should do more pvp instead of mindless dungeon farming”, implying doing constant pvping is better than dungeon grinding.
I know now that you didn’t mean it that way, however when i read your post i argumented against you sounded just like any other generic “pve grinding/running instances is objectively boring and uncreative, pvp is objectively more fun and better in any way and people should only focus on pvp, my opinion is objectively more importnat, lawl @ pve”-player who try to justify who think that the way they play is objectively the only good way to play the game. Since you have been playing for many years you probably have seen many these kinds of people.

Well, the way you said it made it sound like you were against “those basement dwellers” who could farm silver and gear all day in instances. Using the phrase “basement dwellers” gave it a negative undertone, which implied you disapprove of people who could farm instances for silver/gear all day (just like, for example, using “damn killstealing archers” instead of “damn killstealers” gives a negative undertone against archers).

I’m okay with that. It discourages high level players from running low level dungeons. It would suck for people trying to level their characters just to get post 200 people joining through party finder just to solo the boss to farm arde daggers or whatever. It’s already a minor problem now but it would be much worse if people didn’t have to prioritise which dungeons they were going to run.
On the other hand, it sucks for higher level people who can choose from more instances but still want or even need equipment from lower level instances. If players want to do instances alot or highlevel people want to do lowlevel instances in addition to the usual highlevel instances i think it should be their own buisness.
For the problem of highlevel people using spots in lowlevel instance pary finders, there are better solutions than restricting instance entries to a total amount per day/discouraging going low level instances:
Possibility 1 :
If you are 20~30 levels higher than the dungeon you can’t use party finder anymore but can only use regular entry (aka premade group)
Possibility 2 :
The party finder only puts people in a group who are at most 20~30 levels apart from eachother. This would allow both highlevel and lowlevel people to keep using party finder, but only people with similar level get in a group.
Possibility 3 :
Levels and stats in a party finder group are normalized so people who are too high get a stat/defense/damage reduction based on the dungeons level and there is no EXP penalty for low level players if a person of too high level is present. In this caes, if highlevel people want to rush-farm the instance without stat/level/damage penalties they can use the normal entry.
There are probably other possibilties, but these are the three that i could spontaneously think of.
Hmm. 3 per days is enough I think. I’m already having a hard time doing all the runs with my 3 characters.
Besides, 5 per dungeons per days means that we can easily lvl up a character to lvl 115 in 1 day… Oh wait there’s the 115 dungeon so even beyond.
Might as well create 10 Clerics (because cafrisun cheap stuff and quite good for priest/chaplain), lvl up and do 5 of each dungeon to get lots of talt/arde dagger/whatnot tare items.
I mean there will be a huge difference between players.
And it’s different for grinding outside since there’s exclusive stuff in dungeon only. (And more easy to get if we have 5 runs per dungeon per day than doing world bosses)
Just my opinion though.
if you remove the bonus from auto search and make it so it can be run by premade party only then it’ll be the same as having 2 auto search run
difference would be the amount of drop you get. during cbt when i reach lv 50 i did the 5 dungeon run and was able to reach something like 60~65
The thing is, with token, 3 runs, one character is like lvl 50 > lvl 63-65…
(With party search of course) So 5 runs you’ll be 70, do quests and eat your exo cards to reach 86… Lvl quickly to 90 and dungeon again…
that depends on how many hours a player will put on this game per day.
for hardcore or those playing more than 6 hrs a day can achieve that.
i really hope they revert it back to the cbt days where grinding was fun and dangerous (for having no cleric)
also if its auto search 600% exp + 30% from token (120% + 30% each member having a token) then its a lot but if we do the premade which is 450% if you have 1 of each base class (90% + 30%) then it’ll be like doing 3 dungeon run but like i said more loot drop and a bit more exp.
and since if there would be no auto search function, a dungeon run would be faster if you can find at least a cleric and a tanker and 3 other hitters/dps than in a auto search with more exp and possibly having a worst lineup and also a possible troll like what i experienced yesterday a cleric who just afk nearby and leech exp and not healing.
I didn’t realize we were playing Maplestory either. I’ve played LaTale for awhile, sort of like a clone that took off with enough care. At first in that game, you also had a limit but you could reset that limit with a command. And soon enough, you didn’t even need a party to do instances.
Thing is, they want you to actually play their game by exploring the lands and completing their quests. There’d be tons of tiny instances if they wanted you to purely have a Diablo experience.
I use a Token, but between actually doing Fedimian’s Missions, hunting down the Merc Quests, and actually doing dungeons for my characters each it actually fills up the content quite abit, albeit a tad stale and repetitive if that’s all you do.
Unlimited Instance running in this game would utterly destroy the game around it without some EXP adjustment, lol

Yup. It’s each character. I could do 3 dungeons with my Monk and my Cryo.
