I thought it was 2 runs per dungeon not 2 runs for all dungeons

I didn’t realize we were playing Maplestory either. I’ve played LaTale for awhile, sort of like a clone that took off with enough care. At first in that game, you also had a limit but you could reset that limit with a command. And soon enough, you didn’t even need a party to do instances.

Thing is, they want you to actually play their game by exploring the lands and completing their quests. There’d be tons of tiny instances if they wanted you to purely have a Diablo experience.

I use a Token, but between actually doing Fedimian’s Missions, hunting down the Merc Quests, and actually doing dungeons for my characters each it actually fills up the content quite abit, albeit a tad stale and repetitive if that’s all you do.

Unlimited Instance running in this game would utterly destroy the game around it without some EXP adjustment, lol

Yup. It’s each character. I could do 3 dungeons with my Monk and my Cryo.

I think we found the real reason of this garbage people…

LET ME GUESS…that scroll is on the cash shop?

:grinning:

It’s not. It was given to players as an apology for instable server and stuff like this (Dungeons were crashing the game etc.)

You also notice that there are people who disagree and people who are indifferent, but eh. It’s better to make a claim and see if people agree, rather than lump people into a group presumptuously. Since you’ve resorted to calling me derogatory terms and insults I assume that’s all you have to go on from now. Whatever helps you sleep at night mate, calling me whatever. :+1:

There are problems with the game that far precede the dungeon limits, and that list changes daily. And honestly this is one of the most insignificant things. Once you get rolling with two characters, you start getting sapped for time provided you aren’t lazy.

@PrinceMark Yeah, it’s per character not per account. If it were per account, I’d be salty as hell, lol.

@deanleroy89692 Ahh I do that occassionally when doing Missions. Feels bad man.

Yep. Which is why alt is using the 3 dg runs everyday for 130dg in hopes for a Petimion and the main is running 200/240s for catacombs/recipes. The rest of the time if I have is spent on grinding silver so I can either upgrade attributes or splurge on rerolling cubes.

In the beginning with just 1 character I too question why DG runs are capped at 2-3. When I start to have alts, I start to realise the reason why it is capped and why IMC reduce dungeon runs and have the new silver to open cube system. With 1 alt I run 6 dgs a day, 2 alts I run 9 dgs a day.

They probably did it to maintain the status quo of the items. One thing a game company must balance is the longevity of the game, they need something as a time/money sink for players. With the current itemization in the game, the DG run limitation is a design choice since we don’t have that many items to farm for. The other reason is that they want to push the players to do more quests which they painstakingly created. It is easier to create a dungeon choke with no quest and random monsters + boss than do up a quest map with numerous interactions, cut scenes and a flowing story line.

Hopefully they will remove or increase the number of times we can run DG when the game has more content, i.e. more itemization.

They should take DN as an example. 7 entries per dungeon but resets weekly. That should be a fair approach. Instead of 2 per day on all dugeon.

I think people that use their own lives as an example to why this should be restricted do not understand the meaning of all this.

Behold the f**king wall of text.

F2P games should be:

  • If you don’t have time to play but you have money, you can activate a token, and level up faster allowing you to catch up. Having more dungeon entries too if you happen to get a day off that you wanna spend playing the game. (And other benefits)
  • If you have time to play, usually means you won’t be needing advantages to level up (Or probably won’t have the money to do so), therefore you should not be restricted so that people with less time to play won’t get roflestomped by you.

It’s a time/money relation… Since you all are making references to real life, I’ll make mine.

I have time to play, lots of time. Why should I be restricted to level up fast because people that don’t won’t be able to catch up?

Is your argument more valid than mine because you don’t have time to play the game? Is my argument more valid than yours because I have time to play the game?

We obviously are looking at this from the wrong perspective if this is what it ends up being.

I think dungeon limitations are fine, but not as they are. We could have 3 runs per dungeon. Irrelevant if you have time to play all that or not, you will always have the option to do so. More item drops means less inflation on dumb items.

And I’m sorry to be blunt here, but you guys that play the game casually depend on people that play it in a hardcore manner to actually be able to buy that stupid Beetleback shield, for example. Or do you think Varv Skins are just appearing out of thin air in the market.

And the market… Oh man… Don’t get me started…

It’s pathetic. So you are complaining you don’t have time to play and people that have will be able to farm and have stuff, but most likely they’ll be robbed of their effort by the retarded market taxes. So all my work farming items just so I can sell it and get only 70% of the profit? (Considering most people that have lots of time to play usually don’t use Tokens, unless bough with in-game currency). Or perhaps trade it for talt. Wasting time announcing on /y and meeting people that didn’t know about untradable Talts.

Leveling fast is not a problem. People’s egos are. You’d rather wait for an hour to be able to run a level 200+ dungeon then having more people at that level to play with? In a game that encourages multiple characters and such? Leveling fast is good for this game.

Sure it’s awesome to be at the top and I respect the effort that most people that are already there put into their characters, but after some time at the top, waiting to be able to do content for hours, things get boring and when that happens you start losing interest in the game.

[Edit: and then, Chatnarok happens]

they limit you so you can do other stuff rather than just doing dungeon all day long and the item wont flood the market too. the story per map are not bad and you can also grind anytime.

I cant tell which post you are replying too… but

If you have lots of time to play, whats stopping you from buying a token from the market? Then you have all the same benefits as someone who pays, but dont have to pay?

Sigh…

I want to save money for my item upgrades.
And right now there are little real benefit from a Token, like the 30% bonus and the trading options and the attribute thing. Also farming means I’ll be putting time into farming money and not doing other things. I too want to have some fun in-game, you know? Or are only token users allowed to have fun? All the other suckers will need to waste the majority of their times grinding mindlessly to achieve something…? (I’ll probably buy a token eventually, when they put their things together and sell the damn TP already)

Basically with the restrictions as they are right now, I will never be able to experience all the level 100 mission dungeons, for instance. People just stick with the first one. I think I said that before in another thread.

I’ll repeat myself once again. I don’t mind the restrictions, just don’t make them to all dungeons. 2 runs per dungeon would be fine. Controlled freedom is better than no freedom at all.

No real benefit? you seemed pretty upset about what token users get in your last post.

Tokens are cheap. I bought 8 with silver in a month. No reason not to have it. I never really farmed for silver either. Just played the game.

High lv char can do 2 dungeon 2 mission 2convent and maybe ET too. This cost serveral hours per day to complete all of these. I curious how some people who have work/study done all of these and still have more free time everyday.

And if you really want to farm low lv dungeon like farm arde from lv 90 you can just make an alt char to do it(lvling to 90 only require few days some people can even do it in 1 day), if you don’t have pet you have 3 more slot for 6 more attempt for dungeon.

not say it’s good or bad about restriction, but there’re are ways to adapted yourself to the game which is easy compare to make game adapt to yourself.
