I think I'm playing this game wrong halp

This will sound so stupid. I keep dying a lot in ToS, which is weird cause I normally never do in MMOs, never have difficulties surviving at the very least.

I’ve been doing quests in Ashaq solo as a Wiz C1 and Pyro C1, level 25. And I’ve died like 3 times because I don’t know?
Like I pull enemies (5 or something) and try to nuke them but my spells get interrupted all the time and I try to go away in a safe distance but I just keep on running around in circles and leaving fireballs here and there. I feel like, to be able to keep my HP I should kill them before they even have chance to notice me but that seems impossible.

Everyone keeps saying this game is super easy and I’m sitting here all confused.

Enemies only start to give less exp when you’re +5 lvls ahead of them, so always fight mobs 3~5 levels below yours. If you’re lvl 25 you still have a lot of quests to do, don’t need to farm until lvl 40, and if you save all your EXP cards you can use them at lvl 40 to jump to 46 and keep questing.

So how do you get to 40? Just farming? No cards?

Earthquake level 1 to knockdown the enemies that follow you - it works for me, I’m a Wiz C2 and it’s the only offensive skill I use.

Oh right now the mobs are the same level as me but I still feel like I shouldn’t die this easily. I’m not sure if I’m pulling too much or what it is I’m doing wrong. I’m not farming, I’m just trying to do my quests without dying : (

Could you post your build? I mean the skills you’re using atm

I mean, the lvl of your skills right now, what skills are you using? Because if you only got fireball, you will be having a hard time mobbing, maximize Enchant Fire and Flame Ground first, and spam your autos while running and jumping, otherwise you lack off damage (kinda), try to look out for a party because your grinding will be horrible alone.

Yeah I posted what I am using atm. Spam autos?
I’m using enchant fire pretty much all the time, also the shield because of how squishy I am. Idk, maybe I need to look at some videos
