I suspect the token is changing the rewards in Uphill

I searched a bit and tried to find if anything related has been asked, but looks like it’s not the case, if I’m wrong or if it has already been asked/reported, feel free to let me know.

It’s been 3 days since my token expired, and I kept doing Uphill missions, I was really confused because I didn’t come out with the level 2 abrasive every time, while everyone else in my team got it when I asked, they even could get 2 of them.
I just said to myself that it was because I was maybe too far away or they forgot to open the appropriate chest.

After paying real close attention to it, asking what was the reward on X stage to compare with what I had, and I simply noticed that since my token expired, they are random.

Everyone else in my team gets fixed reward for each stage, where I get random useless potions, mainly on stage 8, where you get the level 2 abrasive, in my last 2 runs I got a critical attack potion and a magic defense potion.

On the last run, we managed to go up to stage 29, guess what? Not a single abrasive.

Now, I’m really super pissed after a shitty day I got in this game, struggling between random freezes, VGA, losing exp buffs and getting killed by the level range in missions.

I wanted to make a stock of abrasive if I was to ever play seriously again, but I can’t even do that because, if this is true, this is seriously a bitch stab in the back of a blind and deaf man.

The token already got serious issues and unfair advantages, but now, this?

I have done many uphill runs while always having a token. The rewards have always been semi-random. Stage 8 can give you potions, basic abrasive or level 2 abrasive. Stage 23 should either be a basic abrasive or level 2 abrasive.

There has been days i’ve got not a single lvl 2 abrasive, the rewards roll is individual per person inside uphill. So your party members can get two lvl 2 abrasives while you can get none.

Did not know that in the first place, but it really doesn’t feel like this.
I always did it with token users and make sure to know their rewards and they always had the same ones, while when I had a token, I every time got at least 1 level 2 abrasive, since then, it’s only potions.

It’s either that, or either I’m getting deeply ■■■■■■ by this game.

Don’t know what else to tell you. It is luck based.
I’ve done uphill solo and in parties. You’re not guaranteed to get a level 2 abrasive whether or not you have a token. Each party member can get different items too. It’s just luck.

Can confirm it’s luck, and yes Tree of RNG loves to ■■■■ with players. Sometimes i get Level 2 abrasive on every stage 8 run that day, others i got zero.
