I really think they're trolling us

Don’t get me wrong i loe the game, i don’t hate IMC… but at times i really thing they are trolling us… like for example when you find a quest that requires you to kill 15 enemies in under 2 minutes, in an OPEN area (not in the little instance thingie), in a place were, after the announced 50% increase spawn rate, enemies take 1 minutes to spawn and, of course, there’s also few of them

If this isn’t trolling i really don’t know what to call it

Anyway to do that quest is really easy go kill the monsters from outside the CIRCLE. The way I did it was use a speed potion and run all the spawning areas outside the circle and start killing stuff, and somehow that counts toward the quest.

@STAFF_Ethan Please take a look at this. I want to ask, do we have different spawn rates from the korean version? Isnt the endgame content full of grinding on monsters? How are we expected to grind with no monsters?

There are lots of really really empty maps in the game… the new respawn time doesnt halp much when not many monsters spawn in the first place.

Please consider adjusting this some more.

Well the thing is if there’s only ONE other person in the map it gets impossible.

Yeah, the new spawn rates do not help. Its not really about the time, but that the mobs dont have the individual spawn time… the maps spawn time check is overwriting the individual spawn rate. I am pretty sure this does not happen on the korean server.

They need to set spawn rates back to this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f34FGRngzPU and just be done with it, there was 0 damned reason it needed to be changed in the first place. The video shows the spawn rate before imc screwed it up, then it shows the current spawn rate before this patch that makes it supposedly 50% faster (which I really don’t see this at all myself).

Protip to any aspiring game dev: Don’t try to fix things that arent broken, because more often than not you just screw it up and make it worse than its supposedly broken state. I see it happen in so many games, and the spawn rate in ToS being change really shows what I mean by how changing stuff that is not broken can just screw it up more.

Like I said before your doing the quest wrong if your trying to kill the mobs inside the circle. You need to run outside of the circle and go to areas with more mobs. I did the quest when the map had like two other players kill stuff. Another suggestion is to try partying up.

Can you at least try to acknowlege that our spawn rates got changed and that there must be a reason? I really really hope one of the developers actually could take about 8 hours and just try the game in its current state starting at level 1. I am sure you will quickly notice that it just does not work. Pretty please. I’d pay that one person you could let do this testing, but please, just try playing your own game in its current state… ._.

That’s EXACTLY the point… there wasn’t a single enemy spawning in the quest area for more than 1 minute and you only get 2 minutes to kill 15…

you dont have to be in quest area to complete that quest. As already been said earlier you can kill monsters anywhere on the map.

Yeah i forgot to mention that after reading it i tried… it didn’t work… i had to run for 1:20 minutes to find ana rea with 4 enemies in it because there was ONE single archer going around killing everything.

On the other channels there were more people… you don’t want to know how much time it took to find one single enemy to kill

The saddest thing about the whole situation, there are people who have nothing against the lowered spawn rates compared to CBTs.

You guys don’t understant that this spawn rate was for test, for the cbt only, to make ur char level up easily, they don’t want to see all the server rank 7 in one month, stop asking for better spawn its ok now

Cause even during iCBT2, I found the spawnrate/density disappointing…
