I really love instances in this game :)

I recently returned to ToS with my friend. When game first launch I mainly just played solo, so I never experienced any instanced content.

This time around things were pretty simular. Me and my friend Duo to 120. We didn’t even think about doing a dungeon. We always see people shouting for more people, so I always thought it was monsteriously long.

We decided to jump into them today and they are super fun! Some of the most fun instanced content I have played.

Outside of gushing on how much fun instances are, I did have a question I wanted to pose. I suddenly want to make some character that purely for group dungeoning. What everyone personal favorite class to group with ? I love to be super useful and help the group. Most my current classes tend to be more solo focused, so I love to hear about really good group based builds.

If you want to be more support, having Cryomancer or Linker is really good for group party play. Krivis is also pretty nice if you’re going into clerics. There’s quite a few!

make a scout rogue falconer3 and while cloaking cast aiming (use circling only when the enemies already clustered in one place), it will help your teammate passively. Rogue in there is to capture Taoist dark sight

@damiancmedema : I was reading that with linker nerf it now more of a solo class and not as useful in dungeons anymore

@myself : I was considering some sort of Falconer build. I read that Sapper/Falconer does even better in group compared to other falconeer variants.

The lower dungeons used to be very slow, they greatly nerfed the hp to easy mode now

yes, in term of pure DPS, sapper/falconer is better than scout-rogue-falconer3. In term of utility+support, scout-rogue win.

Have testet out several Falcon3 builds during this event and Sapper/Falconer is so far my favorite.
Nice mix of aoe attack and support. Perfect for Dungeon runs and Hunting Ground.

@myself In what way does aiming benefit from cloaking?

enemies usually spawn in group. While cloaking is active you can walk past behind them peacefully and cast aiming to get more enemies debuffed, basically sandwich the enemies from the front(your team) and the back (you)

the problem is that you get less xp as a 2 stack compared to full party…it is quite significant afaik.

are you replying to me? if yes then dont worry, as long as i am in 1 screen with my teammate, the exp boost is still the same
