I really dislike quests

I would honestly prefer it if there were only 1/10 of the quests there are now. I feel like I just get put on a tour bus and sent all over the world slowly with my hand held.

Exploring is fun, but the vast majority of XP comes from quests. I can’t even do bosses without doing quests. I don’t really know a solution to this but it’s not very fun. I like farming cool things like the hats and recipes with my friends, getting excited when we find something new and amazing. But it’s harder to experience that when you’re getting put on a railroad, you know.

Yeah the problem is that you’re forced to quest, because mobs keep giving you 0.1. Servers are overpopulated and most areas are full. There isn’t a time where I cannot see at least 2 ppl on my screen.
The low density of mobs and high population is killing the grind. 0.1 per mob even at decent density means 1hour per level.

The Good Exp spots like for example I think it’s called “Workers Lodge” or something like that, have only 1 channel. What the heck?20 parties 1 channel.Sigh.

The People who went head in first have easy grind ,all the players lagging behind experience a nightmare.

But even if grinding was better then you would still be stuck having to do the main quest. I don’t understand why the main quest is so step-by-step.

I would prefer it if the Main Quest was more about sending you from city to city, from dungeon to dungeon. Rather than sending you from NPC to NPC to NPC on the same map…

I agree completely, the tour bus analogy especially mirrors my own feelings.

What’s funny is that parties there are auto attacking the spawn area of the mobs leaving the area completely wiped out if ever you are passing by.

What lvl are you? It get’s better around lvl 60 as you get variety boost, in fact you’re forced to grind in-between the quests just to keep up with the suggested map levels.

The maps look like they are designed for 4-5 players to be present at 1 time. Instead we have 20-30.

I have 3 characters, a level 43 wizard, a level 62 barbarian, and a level 20something Ranger I started today.

I don’t think it was just about the ratio of quests:grinding, I think it’s about the whole game feels like you’re on a train ride, and less like playing an actual world.

Sometimes the potential is really there. I like to explore everything so when I find weird areas in the map I want to go there. But there’s nothing to do there! There’s also only a few maps to level on so it’s not like there’s a lot of freedom for places to level up at (but it’s a new game so that’s understandable).

I think the monsters respawn very quickly, that’s never really an issue for me.

I went there at the 2nd day ,the place was deserted , I’ve farmed like 10 lvl in 2-3 hours.

Now if you get 2-3 mobs every now and then you’re a lucky man or woman.
Don’t go there , you’ll get more exp simply grinding regular maps. Unless you plan on afk farming 20 hours. Then that place is perfect for you.

Ironically I’ve seen one party call itself “endless grind”. I Think I believe them, it must be endless.

Good Lord by the time I got there it was populated AF, feels like a convention of serial killers or sumthin LMAO. However, I was able to grind much better at the 2nd floor. Lately I knew that I can actually do quests within 10 level range so I might be doing some quests again.

I’m glad others really dislike these quests too. Another thing that really bothers me is how quests are locked by lvl and how your lvl affects how hard you can hit a mob. I don’t get a game where when you fight a high lvl mob they want to make your damage output 1… Where’s the freedom?

I don’t think the quests are too bad. The only ones you have to do is the main story quests i think. At lvl 70 I ran out of quests so the only thing I can do right now is grind some levels until I can get more. so youll have plenty of that.

I do think they need to add some more channels to dungeons. Trying to kill stuff in the mausoleum is frustrating with a thousand people in there.

So you’re one of those people who longs for the “good old days” where’d you’d log in and kill leaf cats for two weeks of your life, eh’?

I was initially displeased by the tour bus, but when I sat back on that bus, relaxed, and thought reasonably about what exactly I’d be doing if they wanted me to spend the same amount of time during my leveling process but without the quests, I quickly came to the conclusion that I was mighty glad for the variety they added.

I’d like some quest variety, but I certainly don’t long for the return of 2000-era MMO grindslog, at least not for the game’s primary method of actually accomplishing anything.

I think the whole game need a major revamp.

  1. Not everyone likes to save the world. Someone need to develop cities after one group cleared the main quest.
  2. Almost zero interactions between players except KSing…Guild system needed
  3. Too much grinding. Alternate leveling route. Guild quest.

Suggestion: (NO haters please…suggestion only)

Raid Dungeon:
Final Boss every chapter should be a super boss in a Raid Dungeon open to all. Once cleared for the first time, dungeon degraded into ‘minor’ setting for farming and leveling with boss degraded into [Boss Jr.] (Hourly respawn). Main Dungeon reappear once a week.
Players who gets the last hit gets Title [Savior of xxx] & MvP player gets [Hero of xxx] as well as Savior/Hero Epic item (SAO anyone?). Title comes with stat boost etc (works like Card system in RO but only one Title can be use at a time)
Additional: Players could choose to complete all quests or just join guild and grind. Only players who completed all [Chapter] quest could enter the dungeons. Dungeon Boss drop 100% success Anvils…

Guild System:

Guild Quest - Guild daily quests to earn EXP scrolls, Silvers, Epic items/materials/recipe and Guild Points(GP). Quest level determined by GP earned (Reputation/Guild Level). No more kill many monsters and donate exp to guild.

City/Town Development - Guild Masters would use GP to develop their Guild as well as City/Town.

Town Level - Guild who occupied the Town Hall would be in charged of the Town. Incl NPC tax & shops and shop level. Higher level better items/services
.
Guild/Territories War - Weekly Guild War on single area territories. The frequency of war will be determined by number of link territories. 3 linked territories = Dukedom (every 2 weeks). 15 linked territories = Kingdom (Once a month but only on boundary territories and only member of Dukedom could participate in the War). Uprising within Kingdom could be started by Guild with most GP donated to developments for every city except the capital. Guild Masters have to balance between Guild Development and City Developments.
Allied guilds could choose to form a Kingdom as long as they have enough territories and one Guildmaster would be chosen as King.

Areas with Main Boss not cleared within 24hrs will be occupied by Monsters. All developments will be reset to zero.

I reached level 105 by doing quests and repeating dungeons not a single grind
My friend reached that level by grinding the same spot 24/7 and putting weight on the z button while afk to auto attack

Personally I think the shear amount of quests available is a good alternative leveling route. Although it is a bit annoying that I have to backtrack the entire map just to advance to the next quest or worst have to travel back to klaipeda to get their groceries when there isn’t a statue nearby.
