but with agny around i think going W1 Pyro 3 Linker x Warlock2 would be a good damage dealer… idk, just found some meta builds scattered on the forum but idk what to choose

Any build with pyro in it is a viable dps wiz build I guess (tho you still need to breach the 2k+ mattack for those high mdef mobs, oh well, all magic dps does that anyway)
Viable DPS wiz:
Wiz>Pyro3>Link3>Sage1 (or its variants)
Wiz>Pyro3>Link2>Warlock2 (or FF2 would also work)
Wiz>Pyro3>Chrono3>Sage1 (Good for bursting bosses, doesnt have problems with link resist mobs)
Ok-ish dps wiz: (not sure if some are viable)
Wiz3>Ele3>Warlock2 (frost cloud still good on pve but you need to gear up to keep up on other classes’ dps)
Wiz3>Link3>FF2 (or warlock2, still ok dps, just got some problems with unlinkable mobs on rank 8 maps)
Wiz3>Link2>Necro3 (good for farming but somewhat costly with its corpse consumption)

is loosing 50% magic damage on the quickcast attribute a big loss?

It boosts fire based spells by alot. on fireball I think its 400%, I dont know the multipliers for some, but I do know it boosts it by ALOT, alot more than +50% damage from quickcast would give, thats how powerful Agny is. So yeah, its alot better than what quickcast can add. With linker your dps would be multiplied to unimaginable numbers (provided that you breach the rank 8 mob mdef ofcourse)

Wiz3>Pyro3>WL2 is okay, but then quickcast damage bonus is additive to the agny bonus and Linker can give you more in terms of dps, mob clearing, and utility. It is viable but pyro3>link3>wl2 is definitely better (in my opinion)
For stat distribution, as for me, I just went full con since transcedence can give you way more damage than stacking Int (yeah its absurd, but I find it way more efficient to invest on con than int)
