I like how people react on Class reset

and that includes me.

I cared when people talked about in like, April.

Now I’m so jaded and indifferent I realize people just like to hear themselves talk about something they have no control over. And I’d rather focus on other issues to make Class Resets irrelevant because adding that won’t do ■■■■ for the actual replayability of the game.

But that’s just me.

I am tired talking and replying to the reset topic. The topic just pops up every now and then sighz. Why can’t they reply to the old threads instead of creating new ones every now and then.

I know what you mean, and honestly if people quit just because they implemented a function most other MMOs have then that’s just being petty.

Like seriously I think the mentality of most of the playerbase is of kids still in their teens thinking they know everything.

I’m almost embarrassed to say I play with these people.

Both sides are the same, unfortunately. One side saying ppl will quit if it is not implemented, the other side say ppl will quit if it is implemented. They just want

That’s funny, last I checked there are more people threatening to quit if class resets are implemented versus those who want it.

I mean, it’s not like a bunch of anti-reset people are elitists and attention whores by announcing they’re going to quit, am I right? It’s also not like the very people who want resets never really trusted IMC to implement one in the first place and have quit quietly and never bothered anyone.

Such cognitive dissonance is quite alarming…

Pretty much. At this point I’m not taking the game seriously, but I’m playing so I can figure out what I actually enjoy. I did learn I love Krivis in general, and I realize Dragoons and Spear play isn’t for me. Now I’m onto Rapiers and the style of pricey stabbing.

@sykwitit540 Like, for instance, I realize that the Instance Clear Books aren’t really bad at all since everyone can get them, they aren’t a p2w item since they benefit everyone, and it would decrease reroll time. That’s about it though, it’s a lazy Nexon approach to speeding up content.

If I had abit of say, I’d probably go about reworking the gimmick maps to have a “Secret!” EXP buff that made gimmick maps grinding zones. Since the most of them have good spawning events and usually good density as well, it’d be good for people who just want to kill and forget about quests for a little. Making sure these Gimmick maps have a decent amount of channels and announce it to see how people react.

Most MMOs? i think i know one with a class reset lol.

What they need to do is make more progress on fixing them game so we can get more players back and have more people in ques rather than putting a band aid fix like this in place.

I would love that. However problem is quests are mandatory as they hide stat points and perm stam increases etc.

If the instance clear books were sold for TP (let’s say, 50TP per star), will you assume it’s P2W? Explain why. I’m curious on your stand about it.

Still not pay to win when you can just find a party to clear the instance. P2W is when the only means to completing or advancing in a game requires cash shop currency or items.

Moreso imo, but I feel P2W is fickle and depends on the purpose and the person you’re asking.

In this case, you could in theory use it purely on yourself or an entire party, in which case the yield completely changes. It also depends on if the item itself is regularly in events and such to the point where only the true money buyers would buy more of them meanwhile the F2Per just carries the ones they have earned. But if it was available for 50 TP per star, I’d actually warrant it may be more of a waste in higher level due to how harsh the EXP curve is.

@thebloodyaugust Fair point, but you could always just do the quests anyway since there’s no higher end level restriction. I’m sure people would just make a stat-point acquisition guide on what quests actually give those random stat points like the sidequests outside of Fediman and other moments. It’d encourage people to be abit more social and even help people who have trouble with discretionary card usage.

Problem is a bunch of those quests are behind chains of quests. I would have preferred if they never put stats in quests then if people wanted to quest or grind they would be free to choose their preference with no penalty.

But o well it is what it is.

I agree with you 100% on this.

Personally, P2W is easy to define and determine. Factoring in cost, reward, and accessibility is really what only matters, as it will absolutely determine the benefits the item would provide.

If anything, I would put that item in similar light to those repair and warp scrolls in the TP shop. A convenience tool that has questionable cost for a meager reward that everyone else can attain, regardless of whether or not you’re in a party, or you’re low level, or whatever its use may be.

The reason why I asked you that is if I can see how you gauge an item in terms of P2W or not, and I’m happy it’s not that a black and white answer to the whole thing like how most people who use the P2W term are. I think it’s a really necessary tool to avoid people overreacting to stuff like this.

I was actually serious about quitting. Nevermind the last word. Sometimes it’s better to say nothing at all, and that’ll definitely be my attitude if we get unrestricted class resets.

Just quit man, for every “hardcore” player that leaves 10 early access players will return

Seems a little premature, don’t you think?

I feel like allowing people to que with their friends has better odds of bringing players back than resets do.
