I just want to say something about the new TP companion

Why did they even let everybody mount TP companion?
Isnt the riding companion passive of SR, Cataphract and other companion rider coming is something that make them differ from other class?

Well they can just make something like fairy or something like a little dragon flying beside a player as additional companion to add stats, not a mountable one or anything you might think of.
Now everybody can be a companion mounting class and im not really happy about it.

As usual i cant do anything about it and just accepting it, continue playing but i just want to say what i am feeling about it.

Well actually only SR and Cata can attack on that mount the others will dismount when you attack or cast a spell so they really aren’t taking away anything from the mounted classes, all it does is helps you travel a bit faster you know like mounts do in other games.

by saying the mount will make other player move faster than normal it already occupying some skill spot of cataphract and the passive im talking about is already bypass.
So what part of it is not taking away anything?
This game has class restriction on many things unlike other games that can ride everything i understand that but they already bypass the mounting that only other class should have.

And yet no one will be going faster than a cataphract since cataphract has Trot that can give up to +20 movement speed so again what is it taking away from that class also a swordsman using dash can outrun the mount and the passive def buff the pet gives is laughable. Mounted classes have advantage that they can attack and use skills on mount the others don’t so it’s just to ride faster, more of a quality of life addition and nothing else really.

Btw even with +3 movement from token and +4 from the penguin I have dashing swordies can still outrun me.

Just wondering is it the speed buff you mad about or the laughable def buff passive.

Dude please explain how this penguin is affecting mounted classes, really because it is not giving them any ability other than run speed and still can’t beat a cataphract in a race

Nothing unfair here, they can mount and giggidy around but they cannot attack.
In term of PVE, this companion add a little spice to a chain of boring questing.
In term of PVP, are you really just mount and watch your teammate die? seriously. Even that low speed is not that important.

Im not really asking how it will on pve or pvp / fights or battle.
Im saying that there are able to mount class and there are arent.
So why let mounting penguin happens?

TP companion just give 4 more moving speed. Dismount when attack or being hit. It just helps you move cross maps a little bit faster. Nothing is unfair. :neutral_face:

Because i dont want another black looking velheider to ride, happy?

So what are you complaining about? I don’t get it the companion adds nothing useful other than movement + for everyone minus Cata and Rieter. Cata and Rieter can auto attack on companion and use skills on companion that is what makes them a mounted “Class” the other can only run around with it and not attack or use skills thus they are not mounted “Class”.
