  • Readjusted item drop formulas.

@STAFF_Yuri

Hey there.

Thanks for your hard work.

ā€œReadjustedā€ means a lot of things. Don’t expect too much, maybe they lowered the drop rates. @STAFF_Yuri Didn’t say anything about them realizing it’s not fun having to kill 1000 mobs to have one mat drop.

I’m going to remain positive about it. Thanks for your input.

It still 1 drop for 1000 mobs, worse than before, great.
Thanks for readjustment xD

Thank you kindly for your work. : ) I look forward to reading about it in the blog.

I experienced slightly increased rates for some items, but others have reported it may be even slower than before. I know it’s anecdotal, just asking that you guys double check things to be sure. Obviously item drop rates are a big deal in this game.

Yeah cause now we know nothing (#Jsnow).

Officialy, the formula is :
1 / (set DPK value - current n° of monster defeated)

They just forget to tell us previous DPK value of items was multiply by at least 2 or 3 to compensate that. So for some monsters it can be really worse.

And we still have some questions about the actual system, nobody is clear about it :

  • Is DPK limited by channel ?
  • Can switching channel could reset DPK ?
  • If there’s nobody in the zone, DPK still saved or reset on a timer ?
  • Teleport back and forth to get buffs and repairs can screw numbers ?
  • Is the DPK drop link to a specific monster appearing or calculated on kill ?
  • Is there a ā€œpersonnalā€ part in the system (link to the character) ?

I guess it’s at the simplest : only raw formula link to a channel, it’s incredibly simple and a bit dumb, but easier than listen to real suggestion and have to work a bit for a real system :disappointed_relieved:

@STAFF_Yuri Can you take that in consideration for your blog ? Thanks !
