I HATE THE JUMPING! *Update*

I’m going to be bummed if they just remove jumping instead of fixing it. Nexon did this with Vindictus, just removed jumping altogether instead of fixing bugs related to it.

Also it’s a matter of opinion to not like seeing people jump around or whatever, personally I enjoy the freedom of being able to jump. Or anything nobody is really forced to do.

@Greensburg are you living in Korea? I don’t know if it’s fair to complain about lag if you’re playing from a distance…if you are in Korea, rough.

TOS developer tyring so hard to make something different from RO…and they found jumping play

haha, well, ToS already got some new elements that are not in RO but meh, as long as the games fun/no kinks/challenging, im happy~

(PVP) Being able to shoot through walls. It gives more advantage to players that use range classes. I’m pretty this is a bug though…

I watched some PvP from the Korean beta, and yeah wowzers the jumping thing is pretty silly. I really, really like the spells that increase body part sizes though. That makes the game really unique, and I think it should stay.

The fact it i don’t have a CBT key
@edit: now i have.

No problem. I’m pretty upfront most of the time, so please excuse that.

Are you saying I am overcompensating by playing this game? My size is normal, and I am comfortable with that.

Edit: And how dare you, sir!

f*** mouse**.
Bosses being way too simple and doing way too much damage.
The random things that appear in boss fights
Skill upgrades that are gated by long enough time so that you don’t want to stand waiting but small enough so that you can’t really do anything meaningful.(Can somebody please give me information about this, i would really love to create a discussion around it if it is something somewhat important to a character development)
A little disappointing too with the classes system (Having this 4 main classes and every sub class basically being same animal but different beast is not what i was hoping for, but i have no idea what i was hoping for in the first place)

Jumping should be restricted to out of combat only

i think jumping adds a bit of platforming fun, sooo… i say keep it…? it adds to the game, and it makes it unique in its own right.

The fact that its not out yet

I’m not playing at all xD. At least until monday .

But I’ve seen this in both korean and english streams. Hit zones and player location are still somewhat unstable.

From what I heard form people in the Korean beta it’s way too linear at least at the start.

Theres like no Alternatives paths.

Say in RO you had Pronera, Payon, Morroc, Geffen as starting zones and they were all surrounded by Porings, Pickies, Fabres you name it.

From what I’ve at least it’s a lot less like that.

I didn’t see a player housing system. I did notice you can change your lodge when you get into your log in screen though. I guess that’ll have to do for me. If we can, I’d like more interactive things. Chair, drinking or eating food at a table, ETC

you can visit other people’s lodge too and even trade characters if im not mistaken so just think of it as your own collection of your characters made uniquely by you~

Maybe they’ll add the more interactive things in the future

Was all that available at the release of RO? But furthermore this isn’t RO… hell, most current games don’t even give many starting options at all. Which does suck, don’t get me wrong I’d prefer open-ended everything…

Hahahah you guys are ridiculous. I’m just reading the replies of the things you guys dislike. Have any of you even played the beta? lmao.

1.) To the person who said there’s no PVP, to correct you, yes there is, and it looks really friggen fun.
2.) To… the person who said there’s no exit button, if you click to the right there’s an option to exit the game.
3.) I’ve been playing beta since the 31st of July. When I saw videos, bunny hopping looked dumb, but it’s really fun… and auto attack canceling is a very fun mechanic. From what I remember it was intentional… but I’ve been following the blogs for a while.

This thread is bad, some of these replies are bad, and you guys should feel bad.

That’s lag, because it never happens to me.

Yeah the starting areas were there at release considering each class was tied to a city.

Geffen - Mage
Payon (Old Payon) - Archer
Prontera - Acolyte and Swordsman
Morroc - Theif

Also my problem is with all the new games they really never add anything at the start of the game anymore.

Take FFXIV currently the most popular MMO I’d say. It has a huge end game focus with classes being all levelable by the same character. So you go to there starting areas and you grind the same monsters over and over. Nothing was added to the first 30 levels of the game. Not even to the 30-50. They just added the 50-60 stuff. And I’m afraid thats rather the norm. People never go back to starting player areas and fix thing. The 1-30 areas are EXTREMELY boring in FFXIV. I’m not saying they were not boring in RO. It’s just that at least I had options.
