@4zamarin @Alyosha @DeliciousCroissant
am I shitposting now?
sorry, that’s not the point here…
please cast your vote and help OP gauge/rate the game,
if you whiteknight don’t vote, who else would?

game is alive, people keep pretend that this is dead, cause of bugs, bots and fps is the main issue of this game
-
i don’t know or maybe yes/no
Don’t listen to these trolls. Just log on and try. It’s not dead.
No its not pay to win for right now anyway.
hi, troll here…
my definition the game is dead, because lv1 to 200, u barely able find grind/queue-dun/mission…
even for end game content, it rather chores than fun/exciting/interactive
I decided the game is dead because it is not alt-friendly eventhough we can have up to 30+ characters in lobby
if that’s okay for you, then game is alive.
yup, best experience is hands on experience~
OP, you yourself will determine whether the game is dead or not.
I personally think its p2w even for now.
(token, tp pet, skill reset etc… lets not discuss this here, but this is how I felt)
OP, feel free to explore ingame to decide yourself.
1 - Alive, don’t listen to the Whinnies.
2 - No, Tokens can easily be get by silver (in game currency) Its PTF - Pay to Fast only, P2W is like Getting by Cash an Sword with 1000 atk that can only be obtainable via cash. Tokens are Faaaaaaarrr Away from P2W.

See for yourself, 5k players spread over 6 servers. Decide yourself.
Sorry if u feel some type of way. I wasn’t referring to you as a troll.
Just hoping positivity for new players that’s all
this is trap!!
see op username…
lol bye xD
The game has definitely lost a lot of players due to many bugs and issues. And I think most importantly, the BAD performance of the game. A game with these kind of graphics, not that they’re bad… they’re not outstanding either though, should perform flawless. The devs messed up big time in that department and are paying the price for it.
It does seem however that they’ve finally realised that the performance is a BIG issue and they are now starting to really work on it, with a future update coming in which multithreading will be applied to the game to make it perform better. So that is a first real step towards making this game better. When will this game completely work like it’s supposed to? No idea. I hope soon, I kind of doubt it, cause I feel like they have A LOT to fix. Even so, the game is playable. Just not as smooth…
So to answer the question. Do I think the game is dying? No. Did it lose a lot of players cause of poor programming and decisions? Yes, definitely! The amount of players this game currently has is fine, though if not for poor programming and decisions it would have been much much more. To illustrate my point, see the steam chart below for a game called Planetside 2. That game has run for years with a playerbase fluctuating between 3.5k and 10.4k. And that game is all about massive pvp battles which require a lot of people. That game is still running today. So having a smaller playerbase like that seems to work. As shown in the steamchart of Tree of Savior above, 5k players is within the margin., though it would be nice to see more players join at some point in the future.

I don’t think the game is pay to win. However, if you play as a free user… there are some restrictions. I personally do not enjoy them and I don’t think they should be present within the game. These restrictions however do not make the game pay to win. So far, I have only used real life currency to get some cosmetics and all my current gear I earned fair and square without paying real money for it. And I haven’t felt the need to buy the ingame token that losens up some restrictions. You even get a little bit of free cash currency every day which allows you to buy items that allow you to use shout chat and even an item that allows you to revive on the spot (this kind of item is usually a cash only option in other MMO’s). But you can get it without paying a single dollar.
Sorry for the long post, but that is my personal opinion about the game. I’d say give the game a go yourself, see if you like it. If you don’t, tough luck, but there’s other games out there… if you do, wonderful and welcome to Tree of Savior ^^
yawn~

apologize as well for jumping into conclusion as people keep labeling me as no-good-troll.
as the matter of fact, I love the game as much as everyone else here.
the only difference, is, I finally gave up to few major things we all know, fps, balances, bugs etc etc,
and newest is, game is moving towards p2w
(not gonna discuss about definition of p2w here, different people, different view…)
nonetheless, I tried the game, I had over 1000playing hours, made more than 20 fail characters, relevel em , I’m down to only 4 actual characters when I deleted account.
TOS is, indeed, a very appealing game concept, interesting game mechanics/system, and a great work of art
but, it lost big time on the competitiveness (tbl/gvg/pve raid etc)
my best suggestion to the game, is please, fix it, in any possible way, so TOS can be competitive, exciting-fast-paced, and more rewarding for staying loyal to the game.
@Arokz
not sure how u perceive this, but 5k total population spanned across 6serves… that’s mean less than 1k player on each server, given 10% are bots…
at anytime, you probably gonna have around 600~800 people online.
even my local highschool have more people than the game…
Goodluck finding players around your level with 600ppl online.
try harder~
@Alyosha am I using your words correctly?
I think my opinion as I wrote it is clear and understandable, so I have no need to defend it. What I posted is my personal opinion. You are free to agree or disagree
