I felt like finding cards in RO where much more satisfying then killing a rare blue mob… I mean when you found a card in ragnarok online, it was a very very special moment that you cherished. When you find a blue mob you just run and hope you get a couple hits in for the exp since the Exp is so bad.
Tree of savior need to have extremely rare items, that is only obtained by a small amount of people. This is what makes a game special, moments that you won’t ever forget, achievements so great they fk your mind on how you even did it in the first place. TOS does not have these moments sadly due to its extremely linear gameplay. Graphically this game has drawn us In, with hopes of it being ragnaroks spiritual successor, but what we have here is another linear mmorpg. Such as things like the world map, no multiple towns, places to level or random dungeons to visit. No, you must go the way they want you to go, or else, you can eat crap and grind for hours so that you can get one level with no item rewards, since no one cares about getting 3 star boots since it’s so easily obtained and every other guy has a pair. Had high hopes imc, I know it’s beta, but I doubt you guys will change the game to "open world do whatever the fk you want since your the story making motherfker" nope, they will keep it linear and force you to buy stuff from their cash shop with real money for that quick sense of accomplishment.
