I’m doing a musketeer Minhal build would archer, ranger 2, scout, rougue 2 and musketeer.
however when I went to put ranger 2 inadvertently ended up clicking advanced and chose hunter, the quest appeared but I have not done, is to cancel and to choose ranger 2.

Actually, you may have not chosen hunter. This happened with my friend, they thought they chose hunter class, but the quest just involved talking to the hunter master, you talk to the hunter master to get a book that you give to the ranger master to get c2
