If he feels there is something wrong the game he has the right to report it back to the developers (and he should). That is why there is a feedback section and how players help the developers in improving the game.

The game is not for him or not he can know that himself. When he still care for the game, he will give feedback and hope for changes, when he stopped caring he will simply find another game to play.

I am mad at people like you. I have repeated this many time, no one said ■■■■ like wanting to reach max level in a week nor they want to get rid of the grind. They asked to not putting the grind wall there so early but later in game. The total time and effort to reach max level can still be kept the same, just don’t make players grind too early when there aren’t enough contents (skills, maps, diversity in character types, things to do beside grinding like PVP, etc) to make the grind enjoyable. Grinding too early like this giving a bad impression to many players, they will think the game has nothing special while it actually does! It’s just that most of the selling contents are only there later when you already had grinded a consider amount of time.

If you disagree with these thing, try to explain your point in a logical manner on why this grind is fine. Stop saying ■■■■ about the well-being of a person like “spoon-feeded”, “lazy”, crybaby", “ADHD” or “go play another game”, etc.

There are many people who have said that they are personally fine with the grind, till now I didn’t once attack their opinions nor I saw many do that. Only people like you that make me have to reply with long posts like this and keep making these threads filled of name calling.

Yeah grinding is my biggest fear about this game as well. Korean games gets localized not just for the language, actually that’s the minor part of the work, but to make those playable by people that don’t want to sit at a pc to do the same repetitive task in an alienating way for hours and hours. ToS being only translated and not localized could easily mean a game basically unplayable for 99,9% of western audience. I hope that I’m wrong.
You guys should actually feel the grind for the game before you all put down your biased opinions. No one knows how the exp system will be in the release. The grind doesn’t make sense. You could spend an hour grinding here, but then another party finds a blue mob and they skip that hour and get ahead of you while you worked your butt off. Hah, call yourself hardcore for not minding grind, but who will you play with besides a niche of players and players who are forcing themselves to play. Not everyone is fully spoiled and has the ability to spend so much time on a game especially now that summer is ending for a lot of people, and there are always people who work.
Note that I tried my best to avoid KS’ing people until very recently. I have been geting KS’ed so much all the time that makes me so pissed off and now I will just kill any group of monsters which show on my screen no matter if there are already people trying to kill them first. You know what? My leveling process is significant faster. So it wouldn’t be a surprise for me if many of these people who claim the grind is fine and calling us names for thinking otherwise are actually rude KS’ers who will use any mean as long as it helps them getting ahead of others.
Horrible people of course would have horrible tastes and horrible thought process. Haha sorry just my opinions. If you don’t like my posts then stop reading them and go find other posts to read. Forums have been always like this since long ago. Did you ever go to 4chan? lol spoon-feeded forum posters nowadays only want people to hold their hands and write things they like to read. I’ve been doing okay so far, it’s difficult and time consuming but I havent found any decent parties to grind with so im okay for now
What level are you right now?
Grind is good. The goal shouldn’t be reaching max level. It should take years to get there. You should spend your time killing monsters with friends, exploring, and doing PvP. End-game is a stupid concept I wish you WoW-kids would let go of.

Use another game. I never played WoW or any of these themepark games nor I ever have the urge to do so. I am a RO fanboy, it was almost the only MMO i really played until I switched to ToS. (Currently I am considering to switch back to RO.)

The grinding isn’t fun at all, there no where to explore at all right now, and due to that maps are filled with player ks each other which make ks each other.
Also end game grinding and level grinding is exactly the same, has the exact same effect so don’t try to act like your prefer method is some how superior, its not and only show that you have ton of free time and nothing else. Also try trying to call other people kids just show how immature you are.

It’s not WoW or other MMO. In old times there was only grind, quest was (and should be) a bonus, not a way to exp. Grind is fun.

If they are the same why do you say I have no life and defend end-game grind over level grind? Your argument doesn’t make sense. If you want end-game ilevel grind then play WoW or ARR. No reason to make this game just like the rest of the crap you kids play.

I’m not saying grinding is bad, I love grind based games. What I’m saying is the current grind is unbearable and needs to be fixed. Never said removed the grind but fix it. Grinding need to be enjoyable, a good grind put you in a calm state where you can grind for hours on end (done it with even some shitty games but the grind was enjoyable while the game itself was really bad) but there grinding is a chore your constantly looking at the time and 1 hour feel like 5 hours thats not fun or good grinding experience.
You need to do a comprehensive review, instead of using silly phrases like, “back in the oven”. Just tell us, comprehensively what you think needs work. “its pretty great!” is not thoughts. Trying to be constructive here.
What areas need more development and how can they overcome what you don’t like?
