HP Recovery is no longer proportionally effective

How horrible is the new HP system. We may have really huge HPs but it doesnt really matter because HP recovery wont have any real decent effect. And monsters are dealing worse damage than you can recover.

In the previous patch having 24k hp and about 700+ HP recovery you can feel your character healing on its own when you are questing/adventuring for hours.

Now you can have 34k HP and 500 HP recovery. doesnt mean much because monsters deal bigger damages and the HP recovery isnt enough to compensate you proportional to your HP. Even if you have 40k hp and 600 HP recovery how long does it take for your HP to recover atleast 1/4 of that?

Before if I afk for like 5 mins my HP recovery will take care of lost HP when I comeback. Now at that same time my hp hasnt even recovered 1/10.

Give players huge HPs but potion cooldowns are terrible. That’s what makes things worse.

I agree with the HP Recovery part, but what’s the problem with potion cooldowns? Now you can use a lot of potions and itens at same time, it’s good enough for me.

Except it was never about the HP recovery before, it was defense stacking til mobs hit you for less than 3 digits of damage.

Also, Bonfire is a thing, in case you aren’t aware. Unless the formula’s changed it’s about 2.5x your regen rate (so effectively 3.5x)
You can also make a Squire, buy Aukuras scroll, and enjoy the super regen (your HP regen every second)

Btw, do you realize how stupid this statement sound?

By your logic, you want monsters to deal so little damage that YOUR PASSIVE REGEN can recover more than they can output?

Natural regen should be like 0.5-1%(class modifier based) of max hp per tick.
Why is it that a 20k hp swordie recovering 200 hp each 20seconds(10 when sitting)?
Worse part of it the natural recovery is disabled when in active combat, so a player can’t even feel the shitty regen rate.
We should get the recovery timer reduced by 1sec per character rank.

In other games when a tanker is resting his hp is the first to fill up, here in ToS, his sp would fill but his hp would still be less than 20% recovered, hp regen rate is crap.

Solution?

IMC: Buy potions, we’ve improved them.
