How's your Wedding Gacha

Totally don’t know where to put this, maybe just share my experiences the past 2 days in the Wedding Gacha. On one hand maybe it is just extreme luck I guess.

2520 TP, 84 + 5 cubes (5 of the gachas are 10+1). 10 Gold (Tier A rank). 8x Gem Abrasive 5000, 1x Silver Anvil, 1x Golden Anvil.

I do need this kind of extreme luck for my enhancements though.

How’s your wedding gacha? Any good pulls? I do need to thank IMC for this gacha though. Probably wouldn’t buy any more from now on, can’t really bring myself to gacha where there are tiers within the TierA 10%.

89 cubes? no wedding costume? Well, you could save a bunch of exchange medals for the future, I bet you got a lot of those, right?

Yep, probably have to wait till it is off season to get the costumes. Hopefully all of the costumes including the book will be in the exchange shop.

So, you’ve spent u$ 120, more or less, depending on the server, more than 50 million silver (If you had bought and sell tokens) to get a costume that’s worth around 12kk in the market, at most. . Happened to me once, spent around 1900TP trying to get the ceremonial costume and got hats and crap, later bought the costume for 7kk. Bottom line, don’t waste your money with these P2W-Gamble-O-Matic cubes, just wait for some lucky guy selling the costume, you’ll get it waaaaaay cheaper.

Can’t really say they are P2W though, the purpose of the costume gacha is mostly for cosmetic purposes.

I do agree, gacha totally not worth the $. Kind of realised that although it is in game, we still live in a world where plenty of misdirection is used in advertising.

I open more than 33 cubes and gets NO costume.
Nothing. A lot of potion, 2 abransive, 1 golden envil, 1 silver envil.
From now on,I promisse to myself dont buy this cubes anymore.

I think it’s more deeper than only cosmetic purposes. The wedding costumes, any costumes (from the tp shop), and specific weapons, can be seen as veblen goods. You want to be noticed? consume. Also, diss.sebastian makes a very good point. You will likely get costumes cheaper in market place.

Let’s just hope IMC doesn’t follow kToS on this one, their patch notes says wedding costumes are not going to be added in the exchange medals shop :c.

My strategy is typically to just get enough exchangeable items to get the medals I need to get it later on.Aiming for/expecting the costumes will almost always end in disappointment.Expecting enough junk for medals is more realistic.

For me gatcha are the worst way to do money.
After some gatcha people will stop to buy them.

I prefer buy TP and with those TP buy costumes.

I think one of the main reasons why IMC decided to proceed with the gacha method is IMC decided to allow costumes to be traded via marketplace.

With many costumes traded and circulated over secondary markets, it is harder to make a costume sale from the TP shop. Which is why they need another method to generate as much/even more sales as before, by RNGing the costumes itself.

I still prefer the old way of purchasing costumes though, just purchase what we want and it being non-tradable (at least let IMC generate some sales + we get what we want specifically).

@Melon, yep, that’s the way which I did previously too. But for this round like what @samuK mentioned, in kToS they said it wouldn’t be added in, which led to me gacha~ing more than usual.

@WhyHello. Yeah, costumes are definitely cheaper than playing RNG cubes. Will try to hunt for one in marketplace.

But classes costume can be sold in Market, so why don’t do the same thing?
Gatcha, Cubes are the worst thing in this game.

Well they may very well do that here as well,but wouldn’t it make more sense to tell us that beforehand or at the launch of this gacha? It would help drive more people to spend.Saying so after just makes people mad/upset they weren’t informed sooner, and IMC doesn’t need anymore gripe than they currently have at the moment.

They may still do it,or do so in the future; I’m just saying it wouldn’t be the smartest thing at this point in time.

I believe among the 10%, there is only likely 2-3% are those actual wedding items.
Seriously, IMC should remove those anvils in the 10% if it not a diamond anvils.

I don’t know why IMC Marketing want to put RNG on it to scam.

Btw, I got 10+1 Gachas from FB event, and I got MY Wedding Costume (Female).
Many peoples haunting me to sell it though. I want to trade for books so I can earn some shards for doing as event planner

In the end, there are many people STILL willing to buy though…there is something that just hooks you to buy it…It happens in every marketing

I also got hooked with leticia cubes with practo in it. So I bought 30+3 on it and… nope.. I didn’t get anything that I can call P2W items.

Although I didn’t regret I spent that money, I learned at that day I shouldn’t try gambling.
Maybe yes, if you are whales. But eh… I’m too poor :sweat:

imo They should completely remove these options from the Rank A rewards. If they want rank A to have more than just the costumes they should fill it with other cosmetic items like armbands or the bouquet/music box etc.

This would make it way less frustrating to buy the gacha as you would have a decent chance to get at least something nice and worth of your money.
