I regretted dragoon so hard. Dragontooth and Serpentine barely deal damage. BARELY. Even my Earth Wave outdamages dragontooth. How on earth am i going to compete in pvp with these weak skills?
Go to c2 and get your missile cruiser called Deathrone

So c2 goon basically relies on Deathrone and nothing else? c1 is useless?
Why would i roll for a class that’s 1 skill only?
Serpentine gets a attribute too. 100% damage for you and your melee partners i guess
And in pvp your best friend still Rush
Do i stick to dragoon or level up my cryo3 linker?

Last question: Is dragoon good for pvp or no?
Dragoon C1 is very mediocre, C2 is where the power comes from. Dragoons rely on skill rotation, if it gets interrupted or is executed poorly Dragoon’s lose a lot of power. It’s difficult but rewarding to play. In terms of PVP, Dethrone is what you’ll be relying on. Dragon Soar can also be quite useful due to the incredibly fast animation, the problem with it is the hitbox is abysmal and requires some skill to use. Dragontooth has a great hitbox but has a charge you may not have time for. Serpentine is a huge damage dealer, especially with the attribute at C2, but the cumbersome animation can cause difficulty. In PVP the Cataphract skills will continue to be important, with Dethrone as a potential easy 1 or 2 hit kill. The other Dragoon skills should serve as filler due to their limitations.

Not my best solo runs when I used to be CataGoon, but should give you a good idea of how good Goon2 is when it comes to damage:
As for PVP, I unfortunately haven’t thought about recording matches back then (5v5 w/ recording on is a nightmare to deal with due to FPS drops), but I can guarantee you all Goon skills are useful except maybe for Gae Bulg.
Restrain makes Serpentine, Tooth and Soar better as they’re multihits - stunlocking + dealing damage is always nice. Then you have Restrain + Rush and other Cata skills for CC.
Everything gets better once you’re Goon2.
Swordsman is hard mode but u can make it work. I feel decently useful in TBL as a sw2 pelt cata3 drg c1 atm at lv247. But ur cryo3 linker may be more useful. Dragon soar into dragon thrust can kill in PvP.
Dragoon c2 It’s the easiest class in the game after the diev 3 oracle kabba inq inquisitor. you can literally chop 4 fingers of each hand and do well it a npc spear. Geared up you can get top 10 2x2 like nothing. 5x5 is a cleric fest so it’s a bit harder but doable.
Just trot 15 and dethrone, run and dethrone again and again.
