How would you build a warlock?

I was originally looking at warlock as

Wiz>wiz>wiz>Linker>linker>Sorc>Warlock

Wiz>wiz>wiz>Linker>Sorc>Sorc>Warlock

Is quickcast is worth it for warlock?

Is linker worth it after its nerfs?

Or maybe i should go for chronomancer and and different low ranks. Any thoughts or opinons?

Warlock’s main mechanic is spawning stuff when you kill stuff. You need to have a solid damage source to take advantage of that.

I’d do wiz3-ele3-warlock.

on another note… who else get think of this when seen female warlock

I would suggest that if you pick sorc, go atleast c2 because your summon may generally become more of a hindrance than an asset if you don’t. Unless you’re picking sorc just for the cat dark buff then idno xD.

I’d suggest either wiz-3-ele-3 or pyro2-ele3. I think that linker is pretty much worthless now (only good for archers, why would you need that on a dps wiz?) the only thing linker is still good at is electrocute but that’s only 1 skill on a 30 sec cd :frowning:

Im sorry for the offtopic but what’s with linker being ‘nerfed’ and ‘worthless’ you mentioned? Did I miss some patch notes while being stuck in a real world? :frowning:

Probably it’s the fact that AoE damage no longer stacks with Joint Penalty. Doesn’t mean that Linker is worthless though. They’re still very powerful.

The aoe damage is no longer x2. it still share damage though.

If you drag 5 mobs together, nothing will change for a swordsman, it will be the same as hitting 5 non-linked mobs if the swordsman has the aoe ratio of at least 5.

Your fireball will hit 5 mobs but no more double damage. Better group them in one spot by running around and not waste the whole circle for it…

Linker c1 is now only good for archers with single target attacks and for killing mages and archers since you can group them with hangman. It is still good for cc but not for damage. If you want dps, you should better chose something else, linker is not worth it anymore, sadly.
