To answer your question, it’s actually quite good depending on which other classes do you plan to take. For example Ice Pike does really well with Linker’s Joint Penalty, and Ice Wall makes a great combo with Psycho’s Psychic Pressure. Ice Bolt is also a decent skill in general and is a good replacement for Wizard’s Energy Bolt.
Personally, I want to try a support-leaning Sorcerer during the beta and I also have a thing for ice powers, so I thought Cryo would be nice as my main source of damage with some CC on the side. Would C1 or 2 be enough for that, leaving me with some space for Linker, or would it be better to just go all the way to 3? I know C2 skills are pretty bad right now, but maybe there’s a lot of benefit to using the points for more levels in C1 skills.
