File a refund on steam.
That’s it! hit them where it will hurt the most. Make them regret selling you tickets to a get the best seats on a free concert
This wouldn’t be an Issue if this is a free service.

wow dude, its the 1st day, what do you expect. go sleep and play later or tomorrow
@Mincubus thanks - just what I thought.
I mean its launch day for the EA ofc this would happen
I snatched my name and went off after that. Will chill a littel and look if I can login later on. And ofc there would be a queue…I mean…what do people expect?
I’ve always said that these things happen but OP has a point on this one.
They bragged that ques wouldn’t happen from sales data and look what’s happened.
Mass charge backs and waiting for the f2p in this case is justified.
Thats the mentality a company hopes for. Someone they can crap all over and know they will just take it. hence why these things happen, good thinking.
well lets just give them a break, iirc this game has been in development for 4 years? so they prolly really need some funds now to host more and faster servers.
Oh no - dont get me wrong. Im also sad that I cant play right now. Its like in most of any other launch. Thats why im not suprised at all.
Its not like IRC is freaking blizzard and can afford all the stuff like them. I mean, they are a pretty small publisher in my eyes with a much smaller audience.
You would be surprised how easy this would be to fix and plan for. Every gaming company does this other than a select few.
They look at sales data and plan servers around that. They subtract a certain percent from that value and buy capacity for day 50% of those who buy access.
They then go silent for a few days while they do “work” on the servers and hope it works out as they trickle in extra hardware slowly. Why? Make the most profit even though hosting costs next to nothing vs the set up cost and original package.
I heard you can’t refund the DLC packs bought on steam, so you’re out of luck buddy
I remember the Archeage launch was pretty freaking bad. I mean, the also got founders and so they knew what was coming - still even with premium status you sat in queue for like 3 h straight. And if you got an dc while waiting…well then start waiting again
Even BnS had that problem and also remember TERA and Aion had the same issuse.
Omg are you a retard?
You telling people that payed for 30 day to not use 1-god know how day and be hapy?
And this game doing so good.
The onlly game that fixed its retardedly bad start is bd.
BnS you could bypass queue by being a premium member.
50 dollar founders should have more priority than 30 and 10 dollar ones here in this case
You won’t get a refund people have already tried, sorry to burst your bubble you knew exactly what you were purchasing it’s like going to KFC/Mcdonalds eating the burger and saying you want a refund you don’t want it anymore.
People like this make me laugh.
@mincubus Well I expect nothing less from my $100, also this is not my 1st Early Access/Founders Server but this is the 1st time I saw something like this after getting delayed for 6hours.
@Juniper This is not launch day this is Early Access, Launch was(depending on your meaning of launch date) iCBT1 or April 29(Public). Things like this shouldn’t happen on this kinds of events. The 6hour delay is OK but the queue and the sheer amount of people crowding channels not so much.
@Solkazo Agreed not to mention the fact that they can cross reference the data they got from iCBT1 and iCBT2 to get a picture of how much extra space they should alot for those last minute buys since they know that the packs are still on sale during Early Access period.![]()
@lancelyn91 I can’t be so sure on that If you have the right reason and enough evidence to support it steam would give you more weight than the publisher since they earn more from repeat costumers who buy more games than a single publisher.
I am sure if its a massive amount of players requesting it will tip something off. If there are more than 20 people in one Mcdonalds requesting refund on a single product at one given amount of time then there got to be something wrong with the product.
no and yes

Personally, im glad the queue’s are this long, so many players are trying to join~ I’d rather this than no queues at all which would indicate a failure. Games that are successful have queues, thats the truth, the ones that arent are dead to begin with. Even RO back in the day had the same issues, and look where that is now? 10 years on and its still alive and kicking. FF had these issues on release, but what of it now? Up and running with a strong playerbase. Right now im 1300 into queue, there are 30,000 players currently on ToS as indicated by steam.
Good game, long queues.
Good things are worth waiting for. ;3 enjoy~
And you make me laugh too
Must be new to the mmo community? those that tried only “tried” they didn’t email support with their facts and other nitty-gritty. If you had used steam for enough time you would have read the refund policy and would have been educated enough to know how to get refunds for this type of situation.
And to compare this situation to going to a KFC/McD’s. This is when you found out that you don’t want the burger because its uncooked or ill-prepared and want it replaced but the grill is broken.
Don’t feed the troll OP
