Full SP recovery gear (ignoring max SP) and max SP recovery attribute, will it be enough? Is there a way to overcome the SP drain without chugging pots for life?
You can’t overcome that, the debuff from summon turn off SP recovery, you can only use SP pots to recover in that state.

Get around 300 to 400 sp recovery. Eat lv 11 yogurt, get cat buffs.
