How to combat AFK sorcs and Abusers

ez fix in two different ways!

‘An actual competent company’ way

Have GM patrol a few hours a day, and cast a 24 hour debuff on bots, abusers and afk fags that would make them viable for PK (red circle under them) in all maps they visit, 3 strikes would delete the char.

'The lazy, one line of code or no fix at all, $100 dollars a week for server’s A.K.A. The IMC way

Monsters spawned with Red Orbs will always one hit Necro and Sorcerer summons

actually just hire me as the resident bot slayer in telsiai. i guarantee there will be no macro/bot users in dp2/dina bee everyday.

this ■■■■ again

So what is this about? it clearly says there that using any third party program is not allowed and I can guarantee you every single Sorc in DBF is using a third party program.

Hindering and pestering other player’s gameplay is also not allowed

My necro summons can stay for more than 20 hours without dying
You would be affecting everyone who plays honestly

How? if you can see me summon a Red Orb you can kill the spawned monster easily, if your summon dies, resummon them again, nobody has unlimited supply of red orb.

Stop being so defensive about how it would affect you, think of how its affecting everyone who isnt an afk farming class, because nothing would really change if you are as you say, an honest player.

No one is prevented from doing, warlock can farm far better than any afk
I can not do potion because I’m not an alchemist

And theyre doing it manually, if I’m in a map with quests and I see a warlock farming monsters I have quests with, I’d talk to the guy, ask him to stop for a moment or better yet ask for a PT, if I did the same thing on AFK sorc/necro, I would get no replies, no monsters and more time spending on such a simple quests

There was actually one (or maybe more) Oracle/s who reset monsters in Dina Bee last time i played there (i was farming mats for khasti bow using my scout) some of the resetted monsters were thick af. i tried pulling some towards the afkers, but it seems that the AI has a limited radius (i attack, it follows only up to a certain distance)

Summoning

  • Summoned creatures will now stop attacking enemies if the casting character remains in a non-combat state for 1 minute.
  • The summons will start attacking again if the casting character re-enters a state of combat.

That … a good start ?
Well, not like it hard for people already macroing pot to macro an auto attack time to time or something

Yeah it’s so easy to work around lol…what are the IMC devs even doing

I’ll be honest. I finally made an Oracle and first thing I did was go around Dina Bee and kill everyone I found, even two people trying to afk pet farm by being up on those lamp posts, didn’t work, I still got them in the end even if they weren’t afk. (They tried to kill the mobs I changed). One of them even had an Oracle they would use to counter-change the monsters I changed.

I spent 8 hours of my day doing that, I probably killed a few of them 8x times because they always came back to the same exact spots and did the exact same things. If IMC doesn’t want to do it, please remove the cooldown on Change skill if the jackpot attribute is not turned on and I will gladly handle the situation myself. I will turn every monster I see into a 12mil hp monster. The Earth Spectras with the lightning AOE was my favorite.

I only went after the sorc botters, but there is always some afk dumb ■■■■ necro sitting right next to them and they ended up dying to, am I sorry? Not in the slightest. Because they are only adding to the problem.
