How to change music in this game?

Hi players, I was wondering how I can change the background music in this game? I have some personal background music I really like to hear in different zones from this game and would like to change the default to that personal favorite.

“on” and “off”.

just turn the music down and play whatever you want with another program in the background.
winamp has always been a favorite of mine.

yes u can do that but i was wondering if u can do it in the game itself. Its okay I think ill just try to the good old method of naming my song files and replace the ones in the folder.

He’s talking about replacing the map musics with his own personal musics.

yes i’m aware.

i’m also aware that the Terms of Service specifically state that “renaming files and replacing them” is not permitted.
so, “at your own risk”, @satomitakashi

how do I ask a staff about this? I don’t want to violate any agreement.

It’s really no big deal.

There’s a bgm subfolder somewhere in your tree of savior folder (can’t access my pc right now or I’d post the specific path)
and there you can replace the original music files with your own mp3s.

With this site you can find out which file plays on which map. Some maps have 2-3 songs that are alternating.

There’s no way of actually doing it ingame. I think I saw something aboit them considering if an ingame music player has high enough demand to warrant implemenzation…? I don’t thinj that’ll hapoen though. At least not anytime soon.

If it’s really against the the ToS (lol) I’d advice againt that (and I would love a notification of that) but I doubt it’s an issue since the change is entirely cosmetic.

alternately, since (like i mentioned before) that’s actually forbidden by the ToS tos… you could just go into settings, turn BGM to zero… and then use any normal media player to play whatever music you like in the background.

then you don’t need to even go to the effort of renaming a bunch of files either now, or later if/when you want to change it.

…it just seems a million times easier to me.

then again, considering that they’re quite reasonable about accepting non-intrusive mods, i doubt that you’d actually get banned for it, if it’s just a music change. i’m just trying to make sure people understand that -technically- it’s forbidden, and also there are much simpler ways to get your own music to play in the background, too.
