How to best use exp tome?

Hi all,

Say i have a total bonus exp of 150% with a party in Alemeth. And 750% exp in dungeon match making. Will i see a bigger effect if i pop a 4x exp tome for that 150% since i will get a 200% increment in exp? (300/150). However in dungeon i will only get 120% increment (900/750)?

So in your opinion, is it always not worth to pop exp tome in dungeon because the match making bonus dilutes the exp bonus from exp tome so much? And better to utilize exp tome in field map grinding? For example alemeth, storage, lhdar etc…

IMO, field grinds are kinda risky if you haven’t grinded with that group before (things may happen IRL that may break the party) plus time is fast on the field. The only good bonus are blue mobs I think (not exactly sure if it multiplies up to x8 since I never had the chance).

For me, it’s Vouchered DNG > Back to back Mission Dungeons when you’re close to reset > grind parties
