I noticed that the skill gives 9 second buffs. And does not have debuff/status icon on enemies. You also lose 9 second buff on your character once you hit an enemy. How many enemies are affected? Does it affect AOE?
Please explain.
TIA!

The buff has a counter on amount of hits (similar to blessing). At level 1, you can deal 1 hit before the buff instantly expires. If you kill the enemy within that 1 hit, you get double exp and drops. Otherwise the buff simply expires. At level 5 you get 5 hits for it.
If I’m not mistaken (someone correct me if I’m wrong), Double Pay Earn now also depends on the hits your party does. So if you party is attacking a boss, expect DPE to expire very quickly.
DPE is best used for solo hunting low level mobs (if you’re looking for something) when you can 1-hit-kill them. However, the skill’s cooldown is still very limiting on it’s overall usefulness. If you have skill lv 15 (for example) and kill 15 mobs with 1 hit while solo, you get double drops on each one of them (you also need to kill them under those 10 seconds).
DPE is “self buff” that work like blessing that only work when you killing the mobs so if you got sacrament buff and you go attack it count 2 hits instead of 1 hit
and also you got limit in time and hits (depend on level of DPE) to get x2 times of EXP and No. of Drops
(and triple the dmg you got too !! )
so if my i use DPE at my last hit against boss, i will get 2 cube?
No, it doesn’t work on Boss cubes, but you still get the double exp if they give any.
Also, since it has a hit-count like mentioned above, be sure to not use multi hit skills unless you’re sure the first hit will kill the mob.
Usually you go at it like this (assuming DPE level 1):
Can I oneshot the mob with 1 hit?
how about using AOE skill i kill 5 monster simultanously with dpe lv 5? does it count as 1 hit?
With DPE level 5 you have a 5-hit counter, it means you can either attack 5 times 1 monster, or once 5 monsters.
No it doesn’t.
Look at it this way, every time you see damage numbers pop up, that counts as 1 hit. Whether you hit 5 enemies with 1 attack, or hit 1 enemy with a 5 hit skill. Both cases will use up all 5 hits.
And like previously mentioned, things like sacrament and enchant fire also counts as hits as they give a separate damage value.
