So like many, I’m excited about the (hopefully) inevitable merge at the end of the month and hoping that means that our swordsmen will look exactly like the KTOS swordsmen do now.
If that’s the case, how do the following classes rank in terms of PvE in KTOS right now? Doppel, Shinobi and Dragoon.
I’m a bit of an alt-aholic and am a melee lover and have been trying to decide exactly which route to go.
I have a lvl 132 Pelt->Hop2->Cors that I was planning to take to Cors2->Shinobi
I also have a lvl 40 Highlander that I was going Highlander->Barb3->Dopel 2
And a 21 Pelt that I was gonna go pelt1->Hop3->Dopl->Dragoon
I’m still trying to decide which of these three I want to focus on getting to rank 7 first. Honestly, I’m tempted to focus on the Dragoon bc with circle 1 being available at Rank 7, that means that there could be very powerful skills in circle 2 and 3 for them.
Likewise, for Doppel, they could get some more powerful skills and obviously the next ranks on the already good skills in C3.
Shinobi, being a one circle class, looks really cool and I’m excited for the synergy with Cors2 and Hop2 but not really sure how it’ll pan out with Rank 8 and beyond.
I don’t care much for PvP and primarily want to focus on PvE, and I guess I just wanted to start a discussion on (1) which classes will benefit the most from kTOS changes and (2) which classes seem like they have some long term potential.
I’m tempted to focus on the dragoon with hopes that as the new ranks are released and hopefully the class is balanced, it’ll become a viable DPS option with long term growth with 2 more circles in Rank 8 or 9, but right now, both Doppel and Shinobi seem like they’re better options for DPS.
